Maybe it's the answer to your question about orange-spine books.

well, it could be the case... someone at TSR was so far-sighted that decided to prevent a mis-sale more than 40 years later... that's reasonable...

That box set was from Frog God Games KickStarter Swords and Wizardry: Limited and Collectors Edition Box Sets funded in March of 2020.

It is used for cameo appearances in the dungeon. If one of the magic-users in your adventuring party conducts spell research to create something new, the Stan Lee mini materializes & takes credit for it.

That's why the mini has a contract in its hand!

Given the fact that this lot is not complete (2 books are missing for a complete Warlock series), don't you think that even with the Spartan version the price here is a bit too high? (I'd say the double of the amount someone could optimistically get out of the listed items... And i stay on the high range...)

Interesting magazine, worth to be read. However: not top conditions, not the full run (iirc there are 8 issues)

There are 9 issues of Fantasy Chronicles. The last one took me a loooooooong time to find.

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

Is there a good reference site, similar to The Acaeum for Traveller, which would help identify printings?

seems pretty high, but they don't come up often do they..

as a side grumble, that 15pound shipping seems positively reasonable compared to all the 40-50pound Ebay Global Shipping charges I see on random $10 magazines

Way too high, although it is in better condition that the copy I have/had (don't know which.)
There are two issues, one I bought about 5 years ago, and the other I picked up in 2019 for about £50-60, so £300 is really taking the p!ss.
He also have a slew of other things of interest up (at equally excessive prices), The Book of Dragons, Perilous Encounters to name two.
Didn't see anything worth spending his prices on though.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Great, perhaps you could clarify something for me then since you've owned them. How similar to the later magazine run, are these two earlier fanzine ones? Are there pullout modules with the two earlier ones?

and yes, his prices are steep
