Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

There were supposed to be discounts from certain publishers if one was a member. I believe there was also some slight connection with Gamelords. I remember them being located out of Maryland. It ran for four issues as BART and then changed the name of the newsletter to SAGA for the fifth and final newsletter.

I got these in the mail back in the day. It was run by Gamelords, who changed the name from BART to SAGA because they felt the former name would appear extreme to those who didn't game (and probably to moms checking the mailbox).

Surprisingly good condition.
Doesn't look like the spine has been cracked.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Noble Knight...

while they are generally reliable, if a little high, one of the things they do that I strongly resent, is their tendency to bury crucial condition info in the body of their lengthy description

in this particular case, at the very bottom of the description it states it is missing the folder

terribly misleading

I asked them why they were calling it a brown foldered edition when there was no brown folder and the 2nd response I got back was "I am not sure how our curators know, but I would assume that they either saw the folder and it wasn't in good enough condition to include with the books, or they had some other way to denote which folder color they came with."
Or not.

Shrink is not a condition

Not ‘terribly’ misleading - Deliberately misleading with the intention of duping the buyer. This is how NKG do business, and they have a long history of deliberately posting misleading pictures in their sales. Still, if the buyer is stupid enough to buy from them without asking for proof of what they really are selling, they deserve to be taught the lesson they are teaching. I suspect Aaron neither knows nor cares about how he gets his money at this stage, so long as he makes his money. When Dan took over he seemed to change the corporate culture. Lowered it somewhat into the gutter, and the company never looked back. I’m sure if challenged they’ll claim that their staff ‘made a mistake’ and ‘didn’t intend to mislead anyone’ as they always do. Same old bullshit from source.

I bought a stack of these direct from the author's old stock and they were shrinkwrapped.

Editted:  Also had Enchanted Treasures in shrink.
