It's probably a second print.  The one with 16 pages of the Monster Manual mistakenly bound within.  Very rare.

Don’t know how to post a long from an iPad, but there’s a copy of Seren Ironhand up on eBay with 5 days to go. I remember when these used to be $30-40 a pop, but price rises as they are, the current price is still reasonable, and you get a copy of the Challenge Game System with it.

Just a heads up.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Please, let's nobody here do anything to sustain that trend. (And yes, I am aware copies have traded at higher prices than that).

As someone who has not been paying close attention to prices on Playing at the World, I'm curious.  What does the group in general think a reasonable price range on this is?

Being a relatively recent book, i was thinking a price somewhere between the MSRP and half of it...

Hello Jon, it was not my intention trying to "push" in that sense... I was amazed by the price and wanted to understand whether or not it was a single event (the "traditional" bid war!).
Have you got an explanation for such a trend? Is the book OOP? How many copies have been printed and how many print runs? (I assume there is only one edition of the book)
Thanks and ciaooo

The book has been out of print for a couple years now, but in terms of print run, there are enough physical copies in existence that these excessive prices are unjustifiable.

So it is a market bubble effect possibly generated by your new book...

Just shows the demand for your two-volume expanded and reorganized reprint, Jon :D

Well, this ended in unreasonable territory I thought.  Hope this is an outlier, I am still trying to find one of these, just not at this price.

In the last few years, a lot of the small press stuff that was previously in the $100 range now typically sells in the $300-$400 range.  A number of the very rare ones have gone into $1000+ range also - Kobold Hall in the $1000, Infernax at $2500, etc.

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.
