Re:         2015 North Texas RPG Con Module Releases

Pacesetter Games is proud to announce the 2015 line of special North Texas RPG Convention modules. Please review the descriptions below as there are opportunities to purchase these adventures individually or in packages. Note that many of these modules have print runs of 75-100 copies and that 50 of each will be held back for those attending the convention. Therefore, as few as 25 copies will be available via the pacesettergames.com website.
Two coupon codes are available: NTX7A for purchases of $70 or more -- 15% off. Or, use code NTX7B to get 10% off all orders up to $69.

Lastly, proceeds from the sales of all of the exclusive NTX modules are donated to help fund the North Texas RPG Convention.

V7 Palace of the Vampire Queen: Cries of the Tormented
The venerable adventure kit originally published by Wee Warriors in 1976 has come back to life! Each of the five palace levels have been redesigned and updated. This module features the second level of the palace. There are several new monsters and numerous new magic items. Designed for third level characters using AD&D rules.
Price: $15.00   Print Run: 100 numbered copies

B2 Beyond the Caves of Chaos
The caves of chaos have been cleansed but an intriguing tunnel was found in the process. Seemingly blocked to bar access, the tunnel plunges deep into the earth. Just inside a black, marble obelisk rests in the middle of the passage. A single rune -- the sign of the dread archmage Hilgdred -- is the only mark upon the obelisk. Of what concern can the storm wizard have within the deep.
This event uses the Fifth Edition D&D rules or AD&D rules. Select version and please include note in message portion of check out.
Price: $12.00   Print Run: 75 numbered copies (NTX Box Version)*

TM6 Felhorde
Pacesetter's sixth tournament release finally brings the much-demanded sequel to module Q2 Eruptor's Vengeance to life. After surviving the dead dragon's trap-laden lair, the PCs were shocked to discover most of the dragon's horde had been stone by raiding chasm gnomes. Even more their dismay, upon exiting the lair the PCs have discovered the aforementioned dead dragon is not dead. And he wants his treasure back! Designed for third-fourth level characters using AD&D rules. Tournament rules included.
Price: $12.00   Print Run: 75 numbered copies (NTX Box Version)*

D5 The Fires of Balir
This adventure finds the PCs entering an ancient dwarven mine system that was converted into a prison for all things foul and dark. The mine, which previously yielded the highest quality silver, was the ideal location to imprison demons and devils because the unique nature of the silver does not allow them to teleport or plane shift. The demons cannot leave their individual prison areas. However, non-demons/devils can enter freely. Worse, the magical wards are deteriorating and the demons are on the verge of escape. Seven demon types are presented; each in a challenging scenario.

Price: $12.00   Print Run: 100 number copies

Dungeon Path
Pacesetter Games & Simulations is alpha testing its first ever full RPG game -- Dungeon Path. Dungeon Path is a game of combat. But it is also a game that features high adventure, fantasy, dungeon exploration, one-on-one brawls, sword play and magic.  Designed as a strategic role-playing game, Dungeon Path can be played with, or without, a Game Master (GM). Furthermore, there are rules for solo play.
This game is set in the fantasy world of dungeons, dragons, orcs, monsters, elves, heroes and villains. Each player creates his character(s) and sets forth to destroy his enemies, delve into treasure-laden dungeons, and search for glory.  In the basic game, players create characters and challenge one another to battle. The battles take place in a variety of settings called battle zones. A battle zone can be an arena, a crowded tavern, desolate battle field or any variety of locations.
This special boxed version includes the Alpha test rule book, battle zone map sheets and character cards.

Price: $19.00   Print Run: 50 numbered copies (NTX Box Version)*

NTX1 The Raven and the Lone Star
A ship lies in the frozen tundra of the far north. Its history is lost in time,
but its future may spell doom for unwary adventurers.
This special module is the first in a series that supports the Raven Foundation. Each year, the Raven Foundation will send a deserving youth to the North Texas RPG Convention.
This module includes three new monsters and two new magic items. The adventure is designed for the First Edition game using six to eight characters of first level.
Only 40 of these modules were produced and most were pre-sold. Only a few remain.

Price: $15.00   Print Run: 40 numbered copies*

I just ordered the NTRPG bundle on your website but I'll be attending the con as well.  Which method gets the lower number?  If at the con, would it be possible to pick it up there?  Thanks!

Do you have a booth at the con selling modules or do you carry them with you?

Been shipping them out slowly. I think I have about a dozen packages to go. I will have the rest out and to post office this Saturday. I may set your bundle aside as I had some questions for a few people who bought the bundle at the con. As you may recall, I was sick as a dog and my notes were not as good as they should have been...

Hi,

Looking at the Felhorde - it is supposed to be numbered, but I cant find a number on it anywhere.

Any clues from anyone who bought it please?

Cheers,
Miz

Should be on the front cover. All the way on bottom.  If it is missing, shoot me an email or pm. I shouldn't have a problem tracking what number it is supposed to be.

To go along with the Felhorde box sets, I am sending a PDF of Q2 Eruptor's Vengeance via email. There is some back story that goes along with it that may help in reading/running Felhorde. Of course, there is no requirement to play Q2 first, but it is recommended. As a bonus, the PDF includes an additional plot section detailing the continuation of the adventure into Felhorde.

I have about five or six more sets to send out this weekend in case you have not received it yet (plus a few straggler copies of Beyond the Caves of Chaos (also box sets signed /numbered).

If you are counting, 40 numbered/signed sets were produced (tournament box sets). The regular modules
/book version will be available next month some time.

As always, thanks for the support.

Hi Bill,

thanks for reply.

I have a box, with a cover pic on it. Is that what you mean?

No actual module inside tho, just loose pages.

Cheers,
Miz

Yes, that is the tournament version. Just below the cover illustration on the box should be my signature and a number. If you get a chance, take pic and send it to my email. [email protected].
If the signature and number is missing, I'll just send a replacement that is correct. No worries and thanks for the notice.
