What else we they think of selling on eBay??? After the Ghost and the Elvis cup/water, I was thinking of ways to sell someones soul on eBay.

What do you think about that?

I'm telling you, I'm going to pinch a loaf and claim it looks like the Pope. Gotta be worth a few grand. It just reinforces my general opinion of people, that they are mostly dumb sheep asking to be led.

You guys are obviously not from around here...   or else you would better understand the significence of a big heaping helping of snow staying on the ground for more than a few seconds in Brownsville, Texas. 8O  8O

To me, it doesn't matter where you are. Snow is snow. I can get some from my freezer for you, if you'd like.

I can believe that snow in texas is a big thing. But to sell it on eBay??? Give me a break!

Are you kidding me?  It's the ultimate rare item!  No two flakes are the same! :)

Snow - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

However, the concept that no two snowflakes are alike is incorrect: it is entirely possible, but unlikely, that a pair of snowflakes may be visually identical if their environments were similar enough, either because they grew very near one another, or simply by chance. The American Meteorological Society has reported that matching snow crystals were discovered by Nancy Knight of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. The crystals were not flakes in the usual sense but rather hollow hexagonal prisms.

The chances of seeing identical snowflakes is practically nil, but it could happen.  But even with that, there's no point in paying for snow just because it fell near the Mexican border.

People are gullible, and this proves it.

What's the shipping cost? And does it arrive in a refrigerated truck?

It snowed once here in Florida in 77. not enough to make a snowman  :(

Shipping for the snow is flat rate of $20 and will be shipped in an icebox with dry ice.

What's the point???

We had two blizzards here last week, one last Thursday and one on Saturday. In the process of shovelling out my car (twice) it looks like I may have thrown away enough snow to retire comfortably (somewhere warm). Time to head out to the back yard and fund my retirement.

Would people go for this?

"Geniune Canadian Snow! In case of serious thirst, this item can easily be converted to water".

Guess it's neither rare nor collectible...

No kidding. It's snow, for the love of all that's holy — it's just rain that got cold on the way down. People bidding on nonsense like this makes me wonder how we ever advanced as a race.

It's snowing here now. Two feet is expected in the mountains (the Sierra Nevadas) by this evening. Apparently, in Idiot-World, that means billions of dollars ...
