Lesser Gnome will have a first print version of our initial short form adventure Bird of a Feather at NTRPG Con. The near final image of the cover is shown below.

Another version printed in a less nostalgic fashion later this summer. Logistically it is much easier to make them without the detached cover, but I like this form factor. I thought some of you might as well.

Miniature that comes in the bundle…

Bird of a Feather is a 16 pp adventure that we are selling at NTRPG Con. The retro style module is only for the first printing. A general release version will be available later this summer.  NTRPG Con famously celebrates old-school gaming. I didn't wish to look bad by ignoring their attendee's needs. ;)

The adventure's antagonist is depicted both on the cover and in fashionable figurine form. It is the Rhacos from Whisper & Venom. He and a few of his acquaintances/victims grace the module's pages.

I am a placing the order with the local printing company in a few days. I will not be printing very many copies of this first print run. They are sold bundled with the Rhacos figurine for $20.

If you would like one -and will not be at NTRPG Con- I have set up a pre-order page here. If you prefer, you can pre-order it directly by emailing me at [email protected]

Don't take my word for it though, here is an image testimonial....

While I do NOT resemble the preorder customer I did in fact preorder the module.  I prefer to look more like this...

Thanks to everyone who pre-ordered a copy! I was overwhelmed (and humbled) by the response.

We did our last read through today before passing it off to a contributing editor who understands RPGs. I am very pleased with the final.

I ordered the "axebeak" figurines today as well.

Here is another illustration by Lloyd Metcalf to convince any fence sitters :)

Thanks again,

Zach

Ditto. Will you also be selling the minis separately, Zach?

Thanks guys, luckily I will have copies. John (the co-author other gnome) will there with me if you want it signed (Lloyd too).

Yes, I will have extra miniatures of the "axebeak" available. I ordered about 10% extra to cover for this and accidental destruction by me or USPS.

Interesting note...The figurine is in 2 parts, the feather and the rest...That was not by design but it actually fits the adventure perfectly as the module has a mated pair and the female lacks the plumage of the male

I'd gladly name my next pet hamster after you!   :D

For that kind of bribe I can get the other author (maybe the artist as well) sign both of your copies.

Seriously though, thanks for the support. I think you will enjoy the module.

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

Yep, I will happily sign any of them. I am can easily get my co-author to sign them as well. The artist I will corner at NTX and see if he can sign the modules for those who ask.

Thanks all.

I would love to have mine signed as well:

"To my dear Meche, thank for unwittingly allowing Hector to indulge in an infantile fantasy. Regards, Zach and company"

Kidding! :P Names would be just fine.

Hector.

It would be hilarious, but then, if I show her, I'll have to kill her.

Bwahahaha...

I would just like to mention a slight change to those of you that pre-ordered Bird of a Feather.

We added a 2 sided full color cardstock map insert featuring Alyssa's cartography. New details and adventure specific elements that deserved better than a standard black and white image.

:)

Zach
