The book is 66 pages long (single sided). There is no TOC or Index.
The author has aimed the game towards experienced role players and many
of the basic concepts are either glossed over or not explained at all.
Basically it's a percentile system with other polyhedral dice thrown in
for certain effects. The system makes use of classes and levels for
fighters, mages, psychics and shape changers. Additional classes are
possible using the skill system, though the book only outlines thieves
and asks you to create others using the thief as a template.
There is a 1 page intro that includes what additional supplies are
needed to play. A 23 page "Character Makeup" chapter describing the
stats used and how to generate them as well as weapon, armor and
equipment sections. The nine pages after Character Makeup are devoted
to the "Magic" chapter. In the Magic chapter is a brief description of
how magic works, a spell list and descriptions of the spells and their
effects. Next comes the 5 page "Psychic Powers" chapter. Again we get
a brief description followed by a list of powers and descriptions for
all seven of them. The "Shapechange" chapter is a scant 3 pages and
barely touches on the classes abilities. A list of alternate shapes,
the number of power units it takes to assume the shape and the number of
hit points that can be regenerated by changing shape is about all you
get. Following the Shapechange chapter is the "Learned Skills"
chapter. It is 5 pages long, lists possible classes and details thief
skills and abilities as an example. The next 14 pages, entitled
"Procedures", describes the game system and how psychic and physical
attacks are handled. There is an exhaustive list of weapons and their
effects as well as a novel hit location system and a turn by turn
example of combat. The Magic and Psychic portions are very brief. The
last section "Firminuss A Campaign For Weapons And Warriors" is 6 pages
long with a brief description of the campaign geography and 3 maps.
