Agree; at least for now.
It will be years (maybe a decade or more) before a sellers market returns for those who bought gobs of sets.

I think it depends on what you mean by a seller's market, Gnat.

After this cache sells out, the individual parts should still sell in the $40-50 range, if not a bit more (just not in the $100-$200 range).  Plenty of collectors don't pay attention to The Acaeum or what happens in this part of the internet, and since we will sell out in about a week, if they weren't aware of what was going on after the con in June they'll never have a chance to get a set cheap.  Plus we always have new people entering the hobby...what about the guy who just discovers this site next month and wants a set?  At that point they are all in the hands of collectors who might not want to sell. I think they still do ok in the secondary market, just not spectacular like before.

We won't sell out in a week... we still have 33 left.

Basically I guessed that there were only about 35 people that would be interested in these small print items....

We have sold to exactly 35 people so far

Some bought 1 copy, some bought 2 copies, and one bought 10 copies.

but only 35 people have bought a copy from the NTRPGCon.

So any others we might sell will come from elsewhere.

I was talking with Mars about this sort thing a while back (about a different small press item).  He has a better sense of this niche than I do, for sure, but I seem to recall we came around to thinking that a dozen or two dozen copies of (most of) this sort of material appearing on the market would be enough to cover pretty much everybody who actually collects it.  Some items are better known and would be on the higher end and some are so obscure that five copies might be enough to fill the lists of the people who actually care.  The point is that it's a small number.  This particular group is attractively priced, helps an Acaeum favorite convention, appears to be in great shape, etc. so some additional folks will be interested.  That's great.  And if everyone who wants one can get one and there are still enough for a few people to speculate and stockpile, that's cool too.

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games
