As collectors, we sometimes come across items that are rumored to exist but try as we might, we just can't seem to find them.  Are we wasting our time?  Probably.  But if enough people believe something exist, maybe it will magically appear.   :P   Here are a few items of questionable existance:  1> Pegasus #13 (Judges Guild)  2> The Compleat Necromancer (WOTC/Pandevelopment)  3> The Complete Dungeon Master Series #5: Deep Water - Shallow Graves (Beast Enterprises)  4> Sacrifices to the Orc Lord (The Companions)

Howdy!  I don't think Pegasus 13 was ever published.  At least that's what the discussion boards on judgesguild.net say.  I'd like to add the following items for "verification of publication".  (Wheh!  Say that three times fast!)  17"x22" judges and player's maps for City State Invincible Overlord by Judges Guild, in LIGHT tan color like the original maps, not darker tan like map included in Wraith Overlord set  Ready Ref Book, 2nd edition with COLOR picture, D&D by JG  Vengence of Markeesh, by FASA, for Thieve's World series of modules  Piracy/Stardust double adventure for Traveller, by FASA  Far Traveller magazine, issues 3 and up  Nobles, for T4 Traveller  The Vilani Hypothesis, for T4 Traveller  Journal of the Traveller's Aid Society, issues #27 and up, for T4  On a completely unrelated note, I'm looking for the June 1980, Feb. 1982, and Apr. 1983 issues of Combat Handguns magazine.  Please email if you have a copy for sale.  John

Back on topic, here are some items I wonder if possible exist:  CH1 CH3  Matthias states in his site that they weren't made but its awkward a company would only make the second series and not the first.   Here are other items I wonder if exist. Darkstar Gaming Pty. Ltd The Glittering Grottoes of the Arimaspi  Northern Sages Ristenby Town  Mayfair Morgaine  Mayfair Denizens of Tharus  Mayfair Shaman   Tri Tacs Dungeon Maps #1  Underworld Publishing 1023 Templars Tower of Time  Underworld Publishing  1024 Guildwar

According to info attributed to Brett Easterbrook on a non-TSR D&D webpage (Matthias's?), Morgaine (prod. #718) by Mayfair was never published.

Hi John, I did see Matthias site regarding this info but was wondering maybe it could have been released. Maybe not in published form but in prepub form, etc.

Darkstar- written but never peublish, and the writter can't find a copy of it either, lost in the sands of time...  Margaine- I did provide Matthias with a Mayfair flyer (if you remember the mostly came with small attached cards in the middle of the module that had previews of other stock and a survey... all this from memory) on one or two of these is a picture and a summary of the morgaine module...  Brette:)

Hey Brette thanks for the useful info.  I bet Mayfair Morgaine exists out there!   Interesting info about Darkstar. The writer can't find his own work? !@#$*! Guess its lost unless he made a few copies and distributed them for people to look at, etc.

I can confirm that Sacrifice to the Orc Lord was never published as Wheeler from the Companions told me a few years ago.  That's one to cross off the list.

Well one item is crossed of the list! Still a bunch more left to confirm.  I wish there was some way to get in contact with a lot of the people who made these specific items and ask them directly.

It did.  But in late 1996, Far Future decided to bring back the spirit of the "old Traveller" by resurrecting JTAS, and they started with issue #25.  I have a copy of #25, and I'm pretty sure #26 was released, but John is asking about issues #27 onwards.  Foul

Can confirm that "Ristenby Town" - Northern Sages - was never written let alone published. Shame. Anyone homebrewed it?  PS. Paypal sucks.

I could have sworn I flipped through a book very similar to what they are describing, and it was not Van suchandsuch's Werebeasts it was Complete guide to Lycanthropes and look like a PHBR style book. I can't confirm it though, don't have hard data on it.

You see Busman, its people like you (no offense) who continue these rumors, etc with heresay. "I THINK I saw a complete book of Gods", etc. Thats how rumors get started. Someone thinks in their head they saw an item and then others follow that person by stating they think they also saw the same item.  Let us know if you can give more hard data about this complete book of lycanthropes.

The Complete Book of Lycanthropes must exist.  Why just the other day, Mkman mentioned something about it so it must be true.   :P   Ð
