Does anyone know of a good source for a Warhammer "Fantasy Warriors" box of assemble-them-yourself plastic minis?  I had a box of these bought in the early 1990s that Ethan has now painted, and I think they're a great, inexpensive set of minis to get into painting with.  The box included 30 minis:  5 each of goblins, dwarves, high elves, dark elves, humans, and skaven, with a variety of heads to put on, and also shields too.  They're slotta minis, too.  

Anyway, I went to my FLGS and the closest thing to this $20 set (it may have even been $10!) was a $100 box Warhammer "starter" set that included just 2 races (high elves and orcs IIRC).

So, are there any sets comparable to the old Citadel one out there today?  It doesn't have to be Warhammer, just really looking for cheap, good, paintable minis for my boys to start them out on their painting journey.

Yes, had I realized that Henry was going to get into minis, and that Ethan had assembled all those from his box already, I might have decided to support the KS.  But I didn't, so that's not an option
