...but it does not sell very well, there are still 137 boxes still avaible at the webstore (on 250).

I downloaded the previews, and while they're in French (and therefore I cannot read them very well [Spanish only gets you so far as a peer Romance Language ;) ]), they look fabulous, and perhaps better than the oft-celebrated _Les Année Folles_ from Jeux Descartes in 1988.  Anyone happen to have both to compare?

Yes, I really like their work... they have translated very good books (IMO) and now there is a french team of authors that make a very interesting work, such as original modules or background stuff (secrets of Lyon -a french city-, this guide).
This book was announced 3 or 4 years ago, but they finally delayed it, and many people were a little angry about that... but now it is just a HUGE tome (528 pages)  :o

I will buy the book for sure (probably not the collector) -it will be avaible in a few weeks-, and I will tell you exactly what you can find inside.
It is not just about France (unlike Les Années Folles).

I'd love to see a kickstarter to translate this book into English even though I ('m supposed to) speak French.

I received the collector's edition this week and it's a really nice set. A lot of research that you'd normally do by yourself online when running a campaign in the twenties, is now bundled in this book. Very elaborate year by year coverage of events, important persons and so on. Really really nice.

This kind of thing is one of the very few reasons I'm glad I'm not fluent in another language.  Temptation resisted!   :D

Good thing I can read French. Bad thing I can't afford to splurge.

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.
