"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

I have received my box sets minus the contributor book.  The box sets showed up about a month ago.

Yep. They're logging onto the kickstarter comments in their droves as we speak.
Good job taking all that money 6 years ago wasn't a "real life" thing! (Though I suggest the possibility of a profit out of this is long gone. ( Unless Bill issues another print run :D - I crack myself up))

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

I have never received my copy. I am a bit disappointed as I talk to Bill every year at GaryCon and have always considered him a friend.

Available now from Die Cast Games: Night of the Black Swords by Allen Hammack (Author of C2-The Ghost Tower of Inverness) with artwork by Jeff Easley and Diesel.

Although I never met Bill, I considered him a pal, giving him artwork for free when he started PGS with his first modules, which he did send me pdf copies of to me

It's disapppinting that for 6years he has missed his own deadlines he keeps setting and doesn't learn from it.

If it was a hobby, I'd be more understanding, but as he runs this as a business, tbh it takes the piss.

As soon as a hobby becomes a business, the whole dynamic changes. I would never do something I enjoy recreationally as a career. It no longer becomes something you do on your time and for your enjoyment.

Bill contacted me last night via email and phone. He had mine marked as already given to me at a convention. Hope to have it soon.

I said to Bill a long time ago to either run it as a hobby, concentrate on his job and offer dates accordingly, or jack in his full time job and concentrate don PGS as his job. But he's tried to do both as a job and professionally, ending up being a bit of a laughing stock unfortunately

Exactly why I tanked the Treasurevault.com store after 4 years...spending my free hours each week packing 100+ packages and then spending hours going to P.O., filling out any relative forms, blah, blah, blah...I hated it.

I've seen that happen more times than I can count, but the one I will always remember is my sister-in-law. She used to make the most ridiculous cakes, always themed, and it was her favorite thing to do. Eventually my brother pushed her into doing it for money (cakes). Once she had deadlines, specific themes, specific colors and flavors she found she began to hate doing it. They had a huge fight over it, and she quit. Now she doesn't make them at all; doing it as a business took the fun out of it for the rest of her life.
Aside from being a porn star, I would never consider a fun hobby for a business.

Cataclysm has arrived. Haven't read anything, but the box is really nice and the books look good also.

My guess is he is sending them out when he has money for the shipping.  And that he would prefer to deliver them to you at a convention as that saves him the shipping costs.

Just a guess.
