Anyone seen Bill in a while. There's the odd post on the KS but he hasn't even visited here for months.

I don't know how much damage this will do PGS because while the product quality and writing is good, has this damaged the reputation too much

Bill is fairly active on Facebook, posted yesterday on the RPG Auctions page...probably could reach him easily through FB messenger.

There's just been a comment left on the kickstarter page by a backer so expect one or more ofthe following soon-

1 - I've  been  called away for work at short  notice.
2 - no WiFi where I'm at (possibly an airport).
3 - been hacked for the umpteenth time.
4 - confirming addresses
5 - Emailing out certain pdfs  as time and bandwidth allows
6 - getting help this weekend to get the last of them packed
7 - check email for stamps.com notifications.
8 - another common reason that has been used before (this is something specific but it wouldn't be fair to say)

And finally

" I know, I know, it's all on me and I just want to get this out of the door".

As it stands I feel that Bill has written this off as major disappointment to himself and to his backers and is probably losing money on it overall. This is a damned shame because if it had been done professionally and got out of the door in a timely manner he could have probably done a second and even subsequent print runs, which could have gained both profit and a great deal of kudos.

A damned shame, though I admit to not being surprised by how it's panned out

Anyone hear back "in 24 hours" from Pacesetter from the last Kickstarter update?  They are still using a 2 year old email address despite several attempts to fix, shipping address is probably wrong also, etc.  I have multiple PDFs of the same content and no physical materials, despite dropping $400+ on the top tier.  Guess this gets written off.

Bill will be attending NTX this coming week, so I assume folks who are attending can ask for updates there.

I had a big miniatures order that was long-delayed that Bill and Ben got nearly-fully sorted over the past month or so (and will be fully-done when I pick up the substitute minis at NTX for ones that are still out-of-stock), so hopefully that's a good sign for the Cataclysm project too.

Allan.

Grodog mentioned Bill would be at North Texas. Any news from there?

He says he's been working on it all year, but I did not purchase a copy, so I had no follow up questions.   :?

Bill was there and had physical copies of it for anyone in attendance at NTXcon that was part of the KS . I wasn't in the KS so I wasn't expecting one. It looked nice! I will be ordering one after the KS is fulfilled.  I know there are a lot of pissed people right now, and understandably, I get it...Hell, I was a big supporter of John Adams (A.K.A. Brave Halfling)..... But, I have know Bill a while and he has always come through on everything I have been a part of and I have no doubt he will on these, albeit, very late from what I have read.

I can't speak for Bill, but from what I saw, the end is near for this KS.

Just to be 100% clear - they were NOT for sale!!! We only brought copies to pass out to backers. And we did exactly that.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Thanks Matt!

Yep. Insanely delayed and I own that. However, the box sets are all going out with most already shippped. We distributed about a dozen at NTX. In all, the set weighs four pounds.
I know I let a lot of you down on this and I apologize for that. I mean that sincerely. For some, that will never be good enough. I get it.
In the end, I hope you enjoy the Cataclysm for what it is. That is all I ever cared about on this project.
For those of you still waiting, you should see the set very, very soon.
For those of you looking for a post-KS set, it will be a couple months down the road. Every backer has to have everything before I even consider offering them in a retail format. Again, this was never about that.
I want to thank all the backers who I met at the North Texas RPG Con and had so many kind words. It is more than humbling.

Bill

I backed for the AD&D set but had no email from stamps saying they have been shipped. Have these gone out yet?

Yes and no. I am about half way through shipping rewards. I will be sending out sets everyday this week except Tuesday. I expect to be done with all sets by the middle of the following week. Probably sooner, but lets just be conservative.
Gazmondo, if you email me, I can check to see where you are in the que. Unfortunately, I am terrible with screen names = real names.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill

Have the rewards all shipped by now? I've emailed you 3 times over the past week or so, but haven't gotten a reply.

Thanks - I am looking forward to receiving this

Lack of communication is the death of any retail project.

At this point I'll take my 400$+ back as a refund.
