Hello all,

I have a bet with Matt from Center Stage Miniatures regarding his Kickstarter. I bet him that he would make $50k and according to comparisons with similar projects on Kicktraq, this and more is very doable. If you have been on the fence about this I encourage you to take the plunge now. He is entering the phase where the potential for growth can become very large, but in order for this to happen he needs support.

If you like miniatures (or think they would make a great gift), have respect for a guy from our forum trying to be in business for himself, or most importantly would like to see me get a free lunch please consider backing his project. Even if you cannot afford to pledge, spreading the word would help immensely in my quest to get fed :)

As much as I liked the Reaper Bones Project; Matt's is truly an example of what Kickstarter, and who, Kickstarter was designed to help.

$75 looks a good initial bid

Point noted, I backed this Kickstarter this weekend and now I see they are over $30,000.  Hopefully they reach their goal and you get your lunch!

Over 35K with 5 days to go!  I am really looking forward to seeing these minis. Go Matt, go!  If anyone is still undecided, now is the time to get off the fence.

Thanks, guys. King of Evil Dragons, anyone?

Image

Sculpted by Jason Wiebe and cast in high quality gray resin. A $75 project add-on for backers of $75 or more, or just get the King himself for a $75 pledge.

Thanks to everyone here for their support of CSM, and to many of you for jumping on the Kickstarter already. I appreciate it, one and all.

Matt

Matt is too polite to say so, but he wants you all to have the finest figurines money can buy either in resin or metal.

On his side are awesome artists like Jeff Dee and Jannell Jaquays. Sculptors like Tim Prow and Jason Wiebe.

He also has a backer desperately in need of an expensive lunch after he hits 50k, which is very doable as long as we help to fund his KS.

The minimum pledge level is only $5. Not to get all save the children on you, but if you skip one Starbucks for only one day you can add to potential end goal for the kind of guy who is in the business for the right reasons.

If minis are not your thing then please help the other 314 of us out by tossing a Lincoln Matt's way.

Tweet early and often.

Zach

PS If you have no other compelling reason to pledge, I promise to send a picture of the most expensive steak in the Dallas metro area, free to us, but not to Matt.

Mabye the good folks who run NTRPGcon should pony up and acquire a couple sets of Demons & Devils, as well as a Dragon King or three for good measure. And some of the Limited Edition KS-only minis. I'd buy more raffle tickets for those prizes!

Thanks, TollHouseGolem. The folks behind NTRPGCon have been some of CSM's biggest supporters since Day 1.

Rest assured, arrangements have already been made for there to be a whole slew of Demons & Devils for them to sell, giveaway, etc. - whatever Doug wants to do with them.

In honor of the your winning, when you put your order in, you can even say you want the 22oz "Demonico" and not "Delmonico" steak :)

What's that about, Mike? Isn't there a Ponderosa or Golden Corral near the con?
