Yeah but adding a comment about Nomad Gods is sort of like also ran isn't it. Much more appeal in the WBRM isn't there?

And how did you miss that one?

No, I think Nomad Gods will nab a pretty fine price in itself say ~$50.  As far as getting beat to it, I was browsing the feckin sports news and just decided to pop in on Ebay to see if there was anything interesting and lo and behold there it was. TFM beat me to it by less than 15 seconds, TOPS.  :(   Thats okay though, I did just fine anyway. :D

FWIW, I am pretty sure now that he is in fact done listing RPG stuff.  I got an email indicating as much a little bit ago.  I asked him just to make sure that he is, but at this point I am about 95% sure that he is.

Oh great... And after I'd warned the seller as to what prices I'd pay for other items, too.

Silly! :P

That would depend on whether I could be bothered camping out here 24*7... and, to be honest, I can't... :)

Sorry, I was just kidding. :)   I actually just got lucky and stumbled on those auctions today. That White Bear and Red Moon auction was out there a good 30 minutes before TFM nabbed it. :)

I managed to have a really fun find. I visited last Monday an entire warehouse of 'old stuff' and I bought enough books and magazines to fill around 10 (perhaps 15!) boxes. Virtually nothing was for D&D/AD&D (I suppose somebody visited them first   ) but I found for example a lot of boardgames, MERP stuff, RQ magazines, Tekumel, Harn, Battkletech (including a couple of the much sought House books)  and so on. And they still have a ton of Hero Games, Paranoia, Star Wars, Torg and more books badly stashed in a room I searched very lightly: I wonder what treasures can be still there? Anyway, I plan to go back (with a friend to ensure careful, careful scrutiny  :P ) in February. Believe me, you will see A LOT of auctions coming from me! Well, after I put away the books and magazines interesting me...  :D

Oh yeah, that rubs it in nicely, Brian! :)

I've been trying for over 20 years to fill in those DW gaps, but not seriously enough (recently) to be buying single issues with $10 added postage each.

Yes. First communication from the seller after trying to get a hold of them for ages; only to be told it's all over now. :?

Cheers, Brian. Guess I'll have to make do with twenty-nine...

17 seconds wasn't too shabby a pounce time, IMHO.
