The lot was from Saskatoon.  I contacted the seller through Kijiji and said I was interested in the lot and wondering if he would ship it.  He accepted Paypal and shipped them through Canada Post.  Shipping ended up being $215 for the 6 boxes and mailing tube.  I'm sure Greyhound or maybe UPS ground could have been cheaper Greyhound is probably the worst for handling of items and UPS I don't like much so I stick with Canada Post.

The transaction was through Paypal so it was pretty hassle free and little risk.

Some sellers on Kijiji are willing to ship while others are really only for local sales (which is the intent of Kijiji).  A number of other sellers on Kijiji are willing to ship but want a money order or cheque or cash (no online payments).  I bought a white box from BC last summer with a money order which ended up okay (after I reminded them to ship it - when it didn't arrive in 3 weeks).  In general most people are trustworthy - its kinda like the early days of Ebay where buyers needed to have trust in sellers.

Until a few weeks ago, I had been searching for a nice copy of Inferno for a very long time, always being outbid and seeing them go for mucho denero.

I caught sight of the listing linked (first) below just before the auction ended (less than an hour left)
Was not looking for it, but when I saw it... well....

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... 0414609248

Here is the one I was able to nab 3 weeks ago which is not sitting on the shelf.

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... K:MEWNX:IT

The second one I linked to (my first copy) is in better condition than the seller described. (I would say Near Mint)

Not looking for another copy now, but are the prices for these going down so much?
Last I recall (When I was loooking and bidding on them) they were going for twice as much, or nearly so.
Or was I just lucky twice?

There was an Inferno spike.  The prices you paid were closer to its long-term value, IMO.

I am glad my patience paid off then.

An interesting read and looks like a fun two-player Fantasy War Board Game with counters.
Basically your team is set against another team competing for treasures and victory against creatures and traps.

I also recently aquired this:
A Box Set (Lands of Adventure) Fantasy Games Unlimited published in 1983, which is Fantasy based using Mythic Greece (Bronze Age) and Medieval England (Cir. 1070 +/-).
It includes Heroes, Monsters and Gods from those settings/eras, with the two treated in the books as two separate game settings for playing in.

Is the author the same Lee Gold of Alarums and Excursions?

Now did you get 1st prints or 2nds?

They depreciated to what you paid since the last half of 2009.

The First copy I got is a 2nd Print. ($33 purchase price)
The other is in the mail and the listing did not state what Print it is.

I picked up several things, but nothing too amazing I guess. In the deal was a Player's Guide to the Wilderlands (d20 NG product) and some shrink-wrapped goodies only I seem to care about.

Got the other Inferno and it is a First Print copy.
However, the books Condition is not as good as I was expecting.
Good at best.
Spine of cover is thin and looks ready to seperate in some places.
To the point that some might be worried about opening the books cover in fear it will.
Stains on front and back cover, and plenty of shelf wear.
Upper right corner has been bent back throughout.
Based on the comments above and the pricing on the Judges Guild Sub-Web, I think I slightly overpaid at just under $40. (not counting shipping).

seleran...
Nice snag on the Wilderlands D20 Player's Guide Book.
Those are harder to find now and starting to go up in price along with the other D20 Wilderlands items.
Anything in the SW is good IMO, I just dont chase items in SW just because they are in SW.
But that does not mean that I do not appreciate them when I can get them.

Nice snags on those Infernos.

I don't really hunt SW items either, but don't complain when I can get them, if they're factory sealed anyway because then the likelihood of being truly complete is much higher... and they look cool when the light hits them. These things I bought are coming out of the wrap, since I want to play with them, not enjoy looking at them. You know, little things like a copy of Games Workshop's Dungeonquest.

That had been listed off and on for months, with steadily dropping prices.  I'm glad someone finally grabbed it once it reached a reasonable range.

I hesitated to bid on it. I wasn't sure it is genuine. Now I know it is ;)
