The second installment in the Return of the Giants series from Center Stage Miniatures and Pacesetter Games and Simulations is now available for pre-order.

Limited to 100 copies, this module/miniatures set picks up where CSM1 - Fog of War ended. Once these 100 copies are gone, CSM2 - Death from Above will not be reprinted as a stand-alone module.

From the module:

"In Death from Above, the Player Characters (PCs) will go up against a group of evil cloud giants and their minions as they attempt to gain access to the Cloud Vault. Within the vault lies a clue to the location of a long-lost giant palace that holds the key to uniting all the giant races."

CSM2 includes the 22-page digest module (with cardstock cover!) and 1 Cloud Giant miniature in either resin or metal (your choice, there is a price difference!)

As you can see, the Cloud Giant is a little larger than the Fog Giant included with CSM1. A picture of the cover for CSM2 and the Cloud Giant are shown below - the Cloud Giant is pictured next to the Fog Giant from the last collaboration. Both were sculpted based on the statistics in the manuals, so the scale is correct - the Cloud Giant is a biggun!

Copies of CSM2 with a METAL miniature are $29.95 + $5.95 shipping in the US (no additional charge for multiple copies)
Copies of CSM2 with a RESIN miniature are $24.95 + $5.95 shipping in the US (no additional charge for multiple copies)
International shipping for one copy is $14.95, with no additional charges for additional copies in Canada. Outside of North America, shipping charges are based on weight.

If you are interested, please post your reservation request in this thread, and I'll send out a PayPal invoice. Last time, all modules were sent out with random numbers. This time, I will set aside the low numbers for those that reserve first to make it fair to everybody.

Thanks again to everyone on the Acaeum for your support!

I'll take one.

For those of us who are not mini experts, can you explain the functional difference between resin and metal?  Sturdiness, ease of painting, whatever...  I'd lean toward the less expensive option, but if there is a reason, I'd go for metal.

I'll take a resin miniature. Not as elementary as a metal one, but I have to save somewhere...

TheHistorian - resin is more like the plastic used by GW on their miniatures. The detail is fantastic, but it's obviously lighter and a little less expensive to produce (and more fragile).

Metal has always been the medium of choice, and in my experience, is still the standard for miniatures. Nothing beats the "heft" of a metal miniature on the tabletop.

Hope that helps...let me know which you'd like, and I'll update the list again.

Thanks!
