Hello, all,

I've been considering acquiring a copy of Hackmaster 4th on eBay, and, after a little perusing, ended up with the following doubts:

1. I see a lot of offers for softcover rulebooks. Was there ever a hardcover?
2. How much should I expect to pay for one?

Thanks in advance.

1. No hardcovers were produced.
2. The PHB and GMG should each be available for $20 or less.

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, Pendragon, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based, CoC, Runequest

Planning: BRP/Harn

They should be inexpensive since their 5th edition is already out [Hackmaster Basic], and more books supporting 5th edition have been released.

The HM 5th edition rulebooks, incidentally, are not only hardcover--they're absolutely top quality.  The HoB is in contention for four ENnie awards, and the PHB has shipped as of...well, this weekend, if I recall correctly.
