Operation Unfathomable. This was supposed to launch today, but they had a glitch so its been delayed a bit, but the KS video is up. I highly recommend watching the video if you have 3 minutes to spare 8)

Thanks for the pointer, Scaley. Handy Haversack ran Operation Unfathomable for a group of us in the Gary Con bar a few years ago, back at the old location, using Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea (AS&SH). Pure awesome! I'll definitely pledge. Very happy to support Jason.

I'm watching Operation Unfathomable, and backed the new Upwind KS (also launched and funded today), the new RPG from Jeff Barber (Biohazard Games' Blue Planet RPG, Pagan Publishing co-founder):  alert icon

Well after a 4 year wait I received the re-boot of Metamorphosis Alpha by Jamie Chambers

alert icon

It was the first Kickstarter I ever signed up for and I figured it would never show up.

Now to get Cataclysm and I will have most of the kickstarter projects I paid for LOL

stratochamp wrote in Kickstarter projects:Jeremy, on May 26th you'll have been an Acaeum member for 10 years. If you had no posts between now and then, you'd have averaged exactly 1 post/month. Or starting tomorrow you could post 3 times/day between now and then and you'd average 2 posts/month for the last 10 years.

I love number crunching; that's probably one of the reasons I like baseball so much; some many numbers to crunch.
And min-maxing in RPG's. Although I'm trying to move away from that having gotten an extra point of wisdom as I've entered my 5th decade (and concurrently lost points of Str, Dex...).

You know Strat, when I saw this I decided I wouldn't post again until I had achieved the mathematical utopia you outlined above. It took me five more months to remember I could start posting again!

PS. Go cubbies!

This game is weird but has already garnered over two million dollars worth of support!   8O

Four years later I have finally received my Otherworld Miniatures adventurer sets! Sans the Feldherr cases, but all figures accounted for.
So glad to be able to close the books on this one; big shout out to Mr. Wayne Richards for finally making it happen.  PDT_Armataz_01_37

happy that it finally worked out. Amazing that it was 4 yrs ago now. While I didn't pledge for this one, I totally understand the frustration.

I thought on this end of 2016 I'd post some links to catch us all up on the sad state of various kickstarters:

had high hopes this would finally finally finally finally finally finally finally deliver...

progress is being made on this, but it's late
Line icon

progress is being made (?), but this one has become worrisome
Line icon

I hope this delivers in a couple weeks

if you wait long enough on never delivering to your backers, Nystul leared that interest wanes..
