As we discussed through KS, I'm in for two :)

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Alyssa Faden's first work-in-progress image from a small section of the new Death & Taxes Regional Map can be seen above. She provided this to give everyone a glimpse of during the funding period.

She is the best at what she does. I say this as a huge fan of hers not simply as a guy selling her maps :)

Backers can get a rolled map add-on (it will be very big...42" x 32" at least) shipped seperately or a folded 18" x 24" in their box set. I can have Alyssa sign the rolled map for anyone who is interested.

Also, I made the mock-up cover for the retro-friendly version of Death & Taxes. They will be in 36pp booklet with the nostalgic folio cover with blue tinted maps on the inside. They are a reward tier at $30 and can be added to any pledge for that amount as well.

Much more information than you probably need is available at the project site - Death & Taxes: A Complete Role-Playing Box Set Adventure by Lesser Gnome — Kickstarter

This module is not included in the $70 level? We have to pledge $70+$30 to get the deluxe boxed set + the retro-module, is it right?
(I still need to back).

That is correct. The retro module only becomes a included option at the $175 pledge level.

You often order multiple copies of the same item, message me if you are thinking about it this time. I bet we can work something out without having you overpledge for anything you might not want.

As you know, us gnomes love sending things to France.

We are in the final three days for Death & Taxes and we are just about to hit the sweet spot where the fixed costs (after kickstarters take) are taken care of and new extras can be added without compromising the project financials.

The deluxe box set ($70) now includes:
2 Booklets
24" x 18" Poster Map
Dice (Nice ones, with a pair of custom dice added to the set)
Custom Miniatures (currently 11 included, 2 Huge figurine add-ons)
and some digital extras (like tokens and VTT maps)

With more expected soon (Map Reference Booklet, more figurines, maybe a third booklet for just the appendices etc).

Other options like a all-in-one hardcover and an adventure only retro-style module are available if minis aren't your thing.

If you would like to see more retail quality old-school games consider giving us a look; even for just $1. The numbers through Kickstarter mean more than money at this point, they show support for the products all of us prefer.

My best backers are from this board and I am grateful to all of you.

Zach

PS- here is a graphic that shows where we stand as of Saturday with 4 days left.

I had started at pledging just $1 as I had a lot of stuff going on in real life and felt I needed to horde my funds for that time period.
As of this morning; I upgraded my pledge for Zach's new KS.
Looking forward to another successful KS from the Lesser Gnome.

The update shows one of the next pledge level goals.
Even if you do not pledge, you should go look at that one.

Hey everyone,

As this is my 'home' forum I wanted to preface this 'standard' post with a great big thank you to everyone who pledged already. I truly believe I have the best backers of any project. I hear almost no grousing and am floored by the quality of useful suggestions I get from them. The members of The Acaeum are the foundation my supporters. I never would have worked as hard to make a quality collection worthy (as opposed to actually collectible lol) had I not discovered this forum and met so many people here. I want to continue to make quality products for the old-school games we all love and your support has made that possible.

Thank you,

Zach

If anyone is looking to run Call of Cthulhu's Masks campaign, this might come in handy :

kickstarter.com/projects/16120292/masks ... nav_search

And from what I understand, Yog Sothoth's mask companion might also be hitting kickstarter soon.
