That's no problem, it's a hell of a lot of minis anyway.. Tbh, I might be able to use some of them for the Battle Cars gaming I play with my boy

Although I'm torn between 20 Orcs and the Hydra + Drider options for the extra $25

You will tell them on an order form...to be filled out after the Kickstarter is over.

Speaking of half-naked women, there were some minor concerns about the female Frost giant figure and how scantily clad she was relative to a more realistic approach.  She looks almost anime to me.  Since the figure may still be in the development phase, perhaps a survey would reveal to Reaper a different, preferred approach.  Then again, maybe no consensus will be revealed.  To see and take the survey, go here:

My main complaint about this miniature is how hard it is to assemble and paint.  Both of the storm giant miniatures are bent over...for some reason.  How about storm giants that stand up and impress us with their height?

You can also add to your purchase after the kickstarter is over.

I sent them an email that basically said:  "Why won't you give a freakin' straight answer to this simple question?"

They were not talking about adding to your pledge after the kickstarter because they didn't want people to wait and thus keep the pledge amount lower.

Alright... I'm on board...

Time to Roll the Bones...  :)

The Sophie figure you can swap out for $25.00 credit to be used towards other stuff.  That's been stated.  Other swaps have not been stated so I doubt that'll be the case.

Yeah, I was just talking about the Sophie swap. I could see that figure in a Shadowrun game (which I don't play) but I don't want one for my games and $25 worth of other minis swapped for Sophie is a great deal (to me). I figure 3 sets of Driders (I think they are a $7 option) and something for $4.

EDIT: Must have misread that. Looks like the Driders were only a buy in option (at $10 a set) not sure if you can get them for a Sophie swap.

Lord Cthulhu slipped in under the buzzer.

$10 for a huge Cthulhu miniature?  Hmmmm....   I wonder if I want a $25 miniature of an out-sized chick on a motorcycle    ...or....  Maybe I want to get the $10 Cthulhu instead.  What to do?  What to do?

(I got a feeling that Sophie will be the most un-selected miniature in history.)

Congratulations, Reaper.

As far as I understand, you can de-select Sophie (naked or clothed...your choice) and use the $25 for one or more sets of actually useful miniatures.  What do you want...let's see...one Sophie or...say...four giants?

Now:   Go back and review that dwarven miniature kickstarter I was snarking about.....

Should You :

A)  Set things up so supporters have NO incentive to jump in and raise the total?

or

B)  Set things up so supporters have HUGE incentives to jump in and raise the total?

I realize the dwarven miniature guys were not Reaper and had only a tiny fraction of Reaper's power, but the object lesson should be clear for future Kickstarters.

I am dumping Sophie like a hot potato.  I'll go with something useful any day.  I was going to go with the case, but I'm taking the hydra and a dragon instead.   8)
