           CLP Award for 2012

Date:   June 8, 2012

T2 The Things in the Forest is available for purchase at pacesettergames.com. The first print run has been set at 100 numbered copies.
T2 The Things in the Forest is a 24-page First Edition Game System adventure module and is the sequel to Pacesetter's first module, T1 The Thing in the Valley. This adventure is designed for four to six adventurers of fourth to sixth level.

From the cover:
The Barbarian Lord and his army emerged from the Darken Wood and swarmed across the land. Eventually his army failed and the greed-driven lord retreated back to the wild lands of the north. He was never seen again.
Many years later, a dark and horrific creature fell upon a peaceful valley many miles from the Darken Wood. Through the mystery of fate, these two events are directly linked. Now is the time to find and destroy The Things in the Forest!

I typically do not go back and look at my modules after they are released until I get around to additional printings. At that point I am really just reading through to recheck for errors and other minor changes. But after reading a review (which was not necessarily negative at all), I grabbed a copy and read it cover to cover.
A quick bit of history before I tell you more. T1 The Thing in the Valley was an adventure in my basic/expert D&D campaign back in the early 80s. I wrote up a follow up adventure that was quite long, but the campaign went in a different direction and I never ran the "sequel" as a sequel, which is, in part, T2 The Things in the Forest. But as
I put T2 together, I decided to significantly cut down my original manuscript (from the 80s).
Now, looking back at T2, I can say without reservation that I made a mistake. I wanted to make the sequel adventure a single module even though it has more than enough content to be a pair of modules or one huge 72 page mega module.
That said, there will be no second print run of T2. I have a very small handful of first prints left and when they are gone, they are gone. I am going to go back and completely revise and expand T2 to match the original manuscript. I will decide in the next few days if that will result in a new T2 and T3 set of modules or just one massive new T2 module (double book like m B1 or TM1 modules). For everyone who has purchased T2, a special credit or discount will be available at the time of release.

I did not know you were creating these ... or if I did I forgot ... it's been a bad year!

Just out of curiosity why are you using the old TSR module numbering scheme?
Are you mapping these back to the originals somehow?
