Advanced Adventures (from Expeditious Retreat) has compiled their first 10 (and then next 10) adventures for $50.  Combined with a decent Lulu coupon that's a pretty fair adventure/price ratio.

Sunrunner44 - idiot that would buy the modules separately, and the as a compendium, just cause.

That doesn't look like a bad deal. Any decent lulu coupons current?

No, but there will be a 20%+ one along before too long, I'm sure.

BTW, for those who bought the individual modules, I asked Joseph Browning if there was anything new in the collections, and was told, "the Compendiums are just straight collections, so if you have all the modules there would be no reason, IMO, to get the compendiums."  I thought that was nice.  Sure, I like having different editions too, but an extra $80 for just some hardcovers around the same material, for a POD item?  I was able to draw the line!

Are these actually interesting, challenging adventures? Is the artwork in the interior of high quality? Is the cover art of each module repeated in the compendium, or just the flyleaf/intro page?

Just looked at the preview - hard to say about the last question, but it seems that the cover art is not included (which makes sense). I do like the overall presentation, though. Very oldschool - shocking : )
