Well my very gorgeous and talented wife entered the North Texas Mini by Centerstage in the Crystal Brush competition in Chicago this weekend.  The Crystal Brush competition is one of the most prestigious mini events in the world, it is in the same league as Salute and Gencon.  Competition was stiff for the overall title (it went to a Spaniard) but the Minotaur won first overall in its category  :D

This little trophy may help promotes Matt's company a bit I suppose

The Rust monsters were also entered in Diorama.  While they did not place for main award it is a very good piece and would win overall in most competitions.  BTW the best overall was won in this category (and it is a fantastic piece).  This Diorama will be given to the winner of the NTRPGcon raffle from last year at this year's show.

Fantasic work.  Your wife's humor comes out in the diorama.

Congratulations to you and your very talented wife on this prestigious win.

Angela's work is first-rate; and I'm thrilled to see such a beautiful paint job on one of my miniatures, especially one designed to promote NTRPGCon.

Great job!

I find it hard to believe anything beat Angela's rust monster diorama. Not surprised at tll the minotaur won a prize, it is a great piece and Angela did a great job on it.

My brother won the rust monsters last year in the raffle, he'll be very pleased!
