Arriving next week at GaryCon: The FIRST FOUR releases from Eldritch Enterprises Ltd.:

"Dark Outpost" SF adventure by Jim Ward

and 3 Fantasy adventures:

"Snakeriders of the Aradondo" by Tim Kask
"Forest of Deceit" by Chris Clark
"Lich Dungeon (Level One)" by Frank Mentzer

Jim and I did larger ones (80 pages or so); Tim's & Chris's are about 40 pages each.
(Tim has been tied up with the convention gigs, and Chris is doing double duty running his own company, Inner City Games.)

Eldritch products will all be sneaking out via the Usual Outlets, both Paper & PDF, in April 2012.
Specific sales options (sites & costs) tba.

ps: Bracton, Blackmoor, and ScketreWhisp are in each of them!

btw, some folks have commented that we haven't done things in The Usual Way. Apparently we're supposed to vaporhype a product for months ahead of its release, take preorders to get as much money as possible as early as possible, and plug into the usual distribution networks.

But we do things our own way. The products will speak for themselves (though some promo is appropriate; if you never hear about it you don't buy it). We don't puff vapor, we don't need to build our careers or reputations (been there done that), and we're really just getting started. Next time you will see a bit more prepublicity, but we'll probably stick to our own stiff-necked oldguy opinions instead of doing things The Way Everybody Else Does.

Got more products abuilding, too.
Keep an eye out for more info about the First Four and More from Eldritch Ent.

Frank Mentzer

Congrats Frank, it is really exciting to see this thing going  :D

I'm excited about the products and very much looking forward... thanks for keeping the mail-order channel open and in mind :)

Hm; maybe we should send Blackmoor a few cases so he could fulfill Canadian orders for us.
I'm sure he'd love doing all the packing and mailing.

Is it possible to have someone purchase one of each of these at the con and ship them to another? If some Acaeum member could do that, I would be much pleased.

For those of us not headed to GaryCon, how can we acquire copies of these publications?

How unAmerican. ;>

But seriously... yes, tho transatlantic shipping is costly. We have plans to get past that. Eventually more industry folks will realize that gaming is global. We plan to get beyond the usual America-vs-the-World syndrome pretty early in our game plan.

Thanks Frank! The French market is pretty active so I am sure a lot of people could be interested in this kind of modules :)

This would be great.

In the spirit of American capitalism I feel obliged to point out that the bunch of mouth-breathing rubes here woulda been solid for an easy hundred copies based on nothing more than rumor, then could have been taken for a special edition printing edition as well, which would have generated some nice free capital to fix that circa-2002 website.  That kinda makes it homey, though, like when you mail-ordered something to an ad you saw in Dragon and always wondered if that check was going into Fly-By-Night Company ether.

Sunrunner44 - mouth breathing rube who could have been fleeced for a first edition, and can be sold a faux-leather cover special edition like a cheap Peruvian whore at significant markup.

PS - or collecting all those single-shots into a nice hardbound, that's a sweet trick too.

PPS - Damn you FGG! <Shake fist at moon>

PPPS - Hey Bill, I could totally be fleeced into a hardbound collection for the "...chicken" run, and probably vastly overpay for a sweet special edition of Tsar with a faux-leather cover.  In addition to the softbounds.  And the hardbound.  Just sayin'.

Well there hasn't been enough time for me to read through all of them yet, but my first impression is that they are all really cool. I dig the artwork and the layout is nice with appropriate art that is both excellent and numerous throughout. The things that stood out for me was the fact that Dark Outpost orbited planet Kask and the 'magical mint' in Franks's Lich Dungeon.

The coolest part, as I was typing this I met Jim Ward in the bar.

I saw them last night after he posted the link and before his bandwidth limit was reached.  The artwork was very nice from what I could tell.  Really looking forward to them.
