The eBay auctions for PFR "Rise of the Runelords" AP modules have some pretty high prices.

Bidding on the Lot of all six modules + players guide is very tempting ... but, naturally, I'm indecisive, especially since I own # 4 and #6.

Any of you guys collecting this particular series?

Have you run into similar high prices?

And I'm wondering if these are still available for retail at any book or hobby shops.

Thanks,

Keith

Prices are still high for the first module*, but it is really good stuff IMO. So the lot seems interesting to me.

We have a french edition for PFR AP, and that is great, as I really like the stuff.

* There is an alternate cover for the #1 Burnt offerings... and it was not easy to get.

I like their stuff a lot.
Even though we don't play PFR , I am using their material in a 1E campaign that I've started.
I wish there were a 3.75E to 1E "converter" :)

The prices of these a going to plummet when this comes out.

I bought a #1 in Near Mint condition on ebay a few days ago for $17 with shipping. I wouldn't pay more that $15 per book.

Apparently you would :)

Prices may drop but original pathfinder #1 will always have collector's value because it was first.

I'll give you $17.01 for it. :)
Just Kidding.

My trouble is I don't need or want NM, just a copy to read and use.
And I guess it's new enough that there aren't many "used" ones out there.

I just finished out the set today on ebay I think I got a pretty good deal and stayed around my goal of $15 per book.

So doing the math
($69.99 + $8.00 + $14.99 + $3.99)=$86.97 for the set.
($69.99 + $8.00 + $14.99 + $3.99) / 6 = $14.50 per book.

I probably should have waited till the Hardback came out. I would guess you could get the whole set for around $65 then.

Those are great prices IMHO.
I wish I could just locate the first one!
And for this set, I'd need two: one for reading, one for my collection.

Or, I could wait for the set to come out.
*smacks forehead*
Would've helped if I'd read your whole post.
Did realize it was going to be hardback!

Not in the long run.  These modules are readily available in PDF.  It isn't like the hardback will be the only way to read them.   Anyone who wants to have the originals will want the perfect bound editions.
