He has what appears to be a flail made of flames...which would make him a Balor?

Given that the module is for 6-8 characters of 2nd to 4th levels, I'm guessing this is a conversation, not a battle.

Perhaps, the perspective is tricking us and the monster is actually really small?

A little constructive criticism... don't use the phrase "agents of the temple" twice in the blurb.  :wink:

Otherwise, looks promisingly spiffy.

D'ya think WotC might have a care about the use of the names? Or is this not covered by IP?

Thanks for the note. This cover is simply a draft. Needs more attention.

Also, keep in mind that this is not available commercially.

Ooh. There's something Keridav and Caeldo about that image. I like it.  :thumright:

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I really like the artwork. You stated earlier these weren't going to be available commercially, will there be any options to obtain a printed copy? As much as I love the old items, I am finding myself a bigger buyer of new stuff that I probably won't get a chance play but love to read and own. The new stuff I purchased recently exudes that 'labor of love' feeling that I associate with the LLB's and early AD&D.

Once again the cover rocks.

It's the reds and yellow.  Very vivid.

I think this is an excellent cover.

The S2 module is one of the free modules you get if you buy every module Pacesetter puts out during a certain time frame/year.

So for instance, if you purchase 1 of each module during the year you will get a free 1ea of S2 and I believe you can also have the option to purchase one additional S2.

But if for instance you purchased 3 of each module throughout the year, you are eligible to get 3ea S2 modules and you can also opt to purchase an additional 3ea S2 modules if you choose. It's the Pacesetter "CLP" which is for Customer L? Program (basically a customer appreciation program for those that commit to buying all the Pacesetter stuff)... and  the freebies are based off your average module purchase.

They are not for sale any other way. (well you could buy one from someone that bought an extra copy)

I am in the Pacesetter CLP as well as the SOP.
"CLP" = Customer Loyalty Program
"SOP" = Standing Order Program

The SOP program allows members to get advance notice when new products become available for purchase and they can opt to order the standard number they have on file, or more, or fewer, or even none.
And as a CLP and SOP member, (along with the other members) I get a short time frame during which I can purchase Pacesetter products before the rest of the Pacesetter fans get to purchase them.
Not to mention the end of the year Exclusive Special Modules...
As stated above by Doug, only eligible CLP members get the free reward module and they also a chance to purchase additional copies if they wish (not required).
IMO both programs are well worth doing as all the modules I have purchased are well done.   8)

Membership for the two programs costs nothing other than the purchase of Pacesetter Modules as they are published.
No penalty if you decide to pass on any of the CLP products, except that if you do not purchase at least one copy of all that years CLP products you do not get a free reward module, nor could you purchase extra copies of the reward module.
