Nogrod did you hear that EVERYONE on the Acaeum just bought a CASE of 50 Starbases? Truth. Lucky I got a couple of these tucked away, but for the right price...

Wow, what a good deal. How many Starbases in a case? 2000? 3000?

I am down so long as you name names. :)

LOL.  Surely, down that path lieth madness!

FYI, Sosostris is a chapbook containing a single short story written by John Tynes, and inspired by Robert Chambers' treatment of the King in Yellow.

I rate it as Lovecraft's worst work.

As a kid, I assumed that the writer must know so much more than me that my mind was just too small to contemplate the awesome horror.

As an adult, I recognize a writer who is trying to scare me with his vocabulary rather than with his story.

(Not the point of your post, I realize.)  :salut:

Wow, At The Mountains of Madness is one of Lovecraft's best works. It isn't a small mind that fails to appreciate Lovecraft's work, just one that operates in a different way than they bulk of his readers. It also isn't Lovecraft's vocabulary in the same way it isn't the type of paint used by Monet, it is the way that vocabulary (and that paint) is used by the artist. Lovecraft isn't trying to scare anyone with vocabulary, he uses imagination which exists in different quantities and qualities in us all. Sad that such a rich story fails to touch anyones imagination.

Delta Green - Eyes Only. Lowish BIN in the UK. These have been coming down in price, in fact I think they have recently been selling for less than this (which maybe a year or so ago would have been reasonably good puurchase).

(seller has the d20 version of the rulebook for BIN too)

That's a very good price. If I didn't have one I would snap it up. I wonder what is driving the prices of Delta Green items downwards?

As Karen said, these are due to be reprinted soon. Don't overpay!

I remember reading that Pagan have just agreed a deal for pdf and print-on-demand for :

Delta Green
DG: Countdown
DG: Alien Intelligence
DG: Dark Theatres

I also wonder, given the tremendous success of their recent kickstarter, that some of the other DG items may be soon made available.  :D

That's right, Steven.  And even if the other titles are reprinted, who doesn't want a first printing? ;)

Yes, its a pretty clear fake.

EDIT: I sent the seller a question and they know its a reproduction/fake but are still selling it anyway.

EDIT 2:  The sellers says that they are being sold with the author's permission.  The seller is in Manitoba and so is the author so this could very well possibly be true.

High starting bid though.

(the auction's text looks to be a cut/paste from Kynan's auctions)

If they know it should be stated in the auction.. hmm..
