Certainly in a sub-sub-niche of collecting, but I don't think I've seen this version of the box before.  I'd guess it's a pretty early example.

Kewl. I have the later/re'printed' edition (full color box cover paste-on); this is the much harder-to-find earlier one.

One spin, read the result on the wheel, regardless of dice type.
Didn't fly well; we love our dice and have so many of them...

Still no sign of the rarer wood and metal version though :(

It's mentioned on that label.  Of course, they probably cost a lot and sold only a few, so there you go.

I think Bob Liddil mentioned one time that 100 of them were made.  I wonder if there were any "custom" ones - platinum and rosewood or something :)

I have the POD version of Ptolus. DriveThruRPG put it back in print last March. The book is split into two volumes due to the size of the original and limitations of POD. Monte wrote about it here:

Bringing Ptolus Back to Print | Monte Cook

Still available from DriveThruRPG here:

Ptolus: Monte Cook's City By The Spire (Ptolus Core) - Malhavoc Press | Ptolus | DriveThruRPG.com

The PDF version of Ptolus includes the Ptolus main book (671 pages) plus an expanded table of contents, search index, maps, map tiles and other goodies that expand it to an 808 page PDF. You also receive a host of supplemental titles, or digital extras, including The Banewarrens, Chaositech, The Night of Dissolution, Map Keys, two Campaign Journals, and more.

The print edition of Ptolus is full color, hardcover book. You will also receive the digital extras mentioned above for download. The premium edition is printed on a thicker paper stock and uses a different color printing press than the standard edition.

The full PDF + Print bundle contains everything: the PDF of the main book, the digital extras, and the printed hardc

Shipping is expensive for all of the items this seller has listed.  Yes, they do ship from Canada.

The shipping is expensive even from Canada (to within Canada or US).
