Sure. I have been keeping folks up-to-date on the BHP blog: http://carpgp.blogspot.com/2011/12/one- ... eeper.html

As we were doing the final proofing, it became clear the text needed one, last good edit. I am throwing in three free modules in th boxed set as compensation.

Thanks John!  I look forward to the box and the extras :)

Well, the delay paid off a liitle bit, John....

I was on the fence.

With three modules included in Delving Deeper, I was drawn to the website to have a look.

I liked your post about getting the final game into print.

I hit the PayPal button.

So, I'm in now!   :thumleft:

The Erol Otus boxes aren't on their website anymore but they were supposed to have shipped by Jan. 20th if I recall correctly.

Did anyone get theirs?

I almost ordered the boxset when he promised extras (still will when order is delivered)... I'm in the hole for $100 +, but still will expect the best :)

These sorts of delays are common in the game industry, and even more common in the small press corner of the gaming hobby.  I can wait.

yep, common, and it seems, acceptable/forgivable. Shit communication is less forgivable though. (Not specifically aimed at these, but lack of decent communication seems to be quite normal)

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

There's a fine line between a delay without adequate communication, and straight up vaporware.

Sorry, guys. I sent out an update email on January 24. Did you guys not receive it? I have copied it below:

Hey folks,

As you may have guessed, my box maker got behind on his orders and needs a few more days. I will let you know when I go pick them up (with pictures) and when I start shipping them.

Three weeks was really pushing it for him to begin with.

Thank you for your kind patience. :)

Oh, and the product does not show up on the website because it got dropped when I uploaded an update to the site earlier this week. I will get that fixed asap.

But if it helps, I have learned my lesson this year and I will not do pre-orders again.
