Old-School Gaming Boxes with Erol Otus & Pete Mullen Art!

This product is a 9" wide x 12" long x 2 3/4" deep, sturdy box (aqueous protective coating) featuring brand-new, full-color covers by Erol Otus and Pete Mullen! That's plenty of room for 2-3 retro-clone hard covers, soft covers or a few dozen modules.

They are available here: http://bravehalfling.com/page18.html

Could we see some pics of the box and not just the art?

The boxes are being manufactured right now, but they are ridged, set-up boxes very similar to the one's the 1st edition Forgotten Realms came in.

I will post pictures as soon as the boxes arrive.

I've had some folks ask about a digest-sized box, so I am looking into it.

Well for an empty box even with cool cover art I think a price point around $3.00 would be good, otherwise it is just an empty box  :?

Games can get you through times of no money but money can not get you through times of no games!!

I hear what your are saying, but these are not just any boxes, these are large, ridged, set-up boxes made of thick, wrapped chipboard with a full-color, aqueous coated protective cover. These specialty boxes are made for one purpose, to hold your gaming materials in for years and years to come.

In order to sell a box for $3, one would need to offer a cheap, paper box mass-produced in China that one might throw away after a couple of uses. The bottom line is that a $3 box would not be anywhere near the quality of these specialty boxes. :)

I'm still in.  The price reduction and any extras are great!

Selling empty boxes is not unprecedented.  Steve Jackson Games sells Munchkin boxes in sets of two.  The boxes are empty but are designed to hold Munchkin cards.  A set of two costs $9.95.

Brave Halfling should sell slightly larger empty boxes for storing these empty boxes.  :)

Hi John, I sent an email last week asking for an update, would you please have a look at my order?

Thank you :)

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Was going to send one out myself, ordered (6) before Christmas. With the holidays and such, just figured it will arrive soon :)

Did these ever get made? And what do they look like for real? What's the quality like? And is the size right?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Actually no Idea... liked the concept, figured what the hell... so I grabbed some.

On a side note, because I am usually half in the bag when I order shit ( very dangerous !) I failed to notice the the red lettering that stated "(The next batch of boxes will begin shipping on January 20)".

There was a problem with the first batch of boxes ( I messed up the color cover format) but the new ones should be ready very soon. I will post pictures and a video of them as soon as I have one.

I ordered one, but it has not arrived.

Yes, I would like a status update as well.  I paid the money long ago, still have no product and no date as to when it should arrive.
