Huge lot of D&D and Avalon Hill games, plus some other RPG stuff in there to boot. Starts at $500. I know nothing about the bookcase games, so I've got no idea if that's a reasonable price :P

It is real. I don't know anyone who's read it, though.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I've talked to a few people who have. Apparently it's heavy on number-crunching to get optimal builds for characters and such. Pretty in-depth book, but I think it only covers the 3 core books, which leaves a ton of stuff uncovered.

Likely a waste of money, imo.

So it's 3E only. :(

Never mind. 1E will be covered quite extensively in my new books, 'A DM's Guide to Advanced Probability Theory' and 'The Player's Primer in Statistical Analysis'.

I am assuming therefore that I am not the only player who in his youth (and later too) rolled handfulls of the requisite dice in advance of any 'big' role... so as to better select those that were rolling the best that day...

"no, no, I am just getting the best D20 for my saving throw..."

8O "oh shit..."

:D

Unfortunately, the last of them unless I find a more reasonable supplier. I can still get them, but I'd have to shift them at £50 a piece to make a proffit, and I doubt they'd sell at that. Best to quit while I'm ahead.

The Gendered Society: Nonfiction | eBay

I ran across this searching for some Traveller stuff.  Don't know anything about it but it looks like a nice collectible.  May need to be fluent in German though.   :)

...somewhat OT but will mention here, as may be of interest (to those with deep pockets).

S&T range from #20 (s.t.b. first issue with game included?) through #92, missing only six from #20-64; mostly unpunched/VGC, some early duplicates, original mailers ("which show wear, but could be discarded" 8O ), etc.

$153 with 5 1/2 days to go

(other items from same collector on the seller's list)
