$115 with 4 1/2 days to go

Expect a final price around $500-700. ('bout the same as Talisman plus a few expansion sets, these days ;)).

Actually, most of the Gorgonstar set lots I've seen auction over the past two+ years go for $200-350 or so.  They seem to be about as hot as the NM/shrinked AH editions, with a little bit extra for being the original editions.

*g*. If it looked as though that auction was heading for $275 (barring any hidden problems), I should've kept silent!

2003 GenCon was $175 for a shrinked AH edition vs. $625 for Gorgonstar edition, plus supplement: the latter probably held the former down a bit... :)

Was guessing ~$300-350, plus $200-250 or so for the (rare) supplement.
And then a possible boost since it's on eBay and clearly being "hunted down", rather than in a GenCon auction. ;)

(*watches*)

Wow, I haven't seen Demogorgon and Orcus together since the Games Centre in the late 70s.

Cool minis 8) Pity my own Demogorgon was never the same after my early attempt at mini painting and a can of lime green paint.

What's even cooler is that the seller has over 250 Minifigs lots up, although none of the GH ones as far as I could tell.

Neat book and a nice guy. :)

Might as well post here, just in case anyone's interested...

Gorgonstar Titan + Battlelands supplement; apparently very fine condition

Expect a final price around $500-700. ('bout the same as Talisman plus a few expansion sets, these days ;)).

Close enough, after being "stuck" at $115 for a long time.
eBay.com Item Bid History

(And that was with a slightly non-helpful seller who took three days to check the counters and then only provided a total, rather than confirming the manifest.)

Howdy David -

I had a go at the Titan set - threw in a $414 snipe that got swallowed by the last minute action and didn't register. I was thiking anything up to $500 would be a good price, but $700 is a little high, although of course they very rarely come up.

Maybe the next one...

Regards

Mike

Can I correct this.  It should now be in the silliest prices thread. 8O

Actually, these are not on Ebay YET, but read below!

I just made a large purchase from a former ICE employee, who was able to pick up quite a bit of product before said employee left in the early 90's.  Nearly all of it was in the original SW and is in Mint to Near Mint condition, being in storage all these years.  I'm offering these first on the forum to fellow Acaeum members before placing them in my Ebay store.  The prices are premium, but the condition on the majority of these is absolutely beautiful.  As time goes in these are going to pop up less and less often in this condition! In every case, these are the earliest version (pre 90's) of items such as Moria, Mirkwood, etc, essentially all are 1st prints or editions
Below is the list with the price I am looking for.  If you want multiple items, I am willing to throw a bone or two your way (free insurance, free shipping if order over $100, etc).  These will start being listed into my Ebay store next weekend, so let me know this week if you are interested!

Assassins of Dol Amroth (Mint SW)---$25
Brigands of Mirkwood (Near Mint SW)---$25 (one corner has come through the SW and has very slight wear)
Calenhad: Beacon of Gondor (Near Mint, barely discernible wear)---$25
Empire of the Witch King (Excellent, some spine wear and dings, complete with map)---$25
Ents of Fangorn (Mint SW)---$30
Far Harad (Mint SW)---$40
Gates of Mordor (NM SW, slight upper spine corner ding)---$25
Halls of the Elven King (NM SW, lower spine corner ding)---$30
Haunted Ruins of the Dunlendings (Mint SW)---$25
Havens of Gondor (Mint SW)----$30
Isengard and Northern Gondor (Mint SW)---$45
Lords of Middle Earth Vol III (Very Good, some cover creases and wear)---$20
Lorien and the Halls of the Elven Smiths (Excellent, very slight spine wear, maps still attached)----$30
Mirkwood: Wilds of Rhovanion (Mint SW)---$35
Moria: The Dwarven City (Mint SW)--$30
Mouths of the Entwash (Mint SW, very, very slight uppder spine corner ding)---$30
Phantom of the Northern Marches (Mint SW, very, very slight upper spine corner ding)----$25
Pirates of Pelargir (Mint SW)---$20
Raiders of Cardolan (Mint SW)---$20
Rangers of the North (Mint SW)---$30
Riders of Rohan (Excellent, Very slight spine wear, maps attached)----$25
Sea Lords of Gondor (Mint SW)---$30
Shadows  in the South (Mint SW)---$30
Teeth of Mordor (Mint SW)---$30
Thieves of Tharbad (Mint SW)---$25
Weathertop (Mint SW)---$30
Woses of the Black Wood (Mint SW)---$30
Combat Screen 1st edition (Mint SW)---$30
Middle EArth role playing rulebook (Excellent, slight outer wear)---$20
Cities of Middle Earth: Minas Tirith (hardcover, with map, Near Mint)---$40
