Alright, alright I know that I am pimping my own stuff, but still:

Interesting stuff, still both way under $10 with less than 5 hours to go.
C'mon, BID.

I wanted to repost this as I posted it yesterday and it seemed to get lost in the time vortex. Here is a Runequest item that looks rather interesting.

Kind of like a Deities and Demigods for Runequest. :D

eBay listings

Has all three parts to the Mechanoid Invasion trilogy (the beginings of the paladium game system) look to be in great condition outside.

Tunnels and Trolls was an interesting game system, more than slightly tongue in cheek at times ("oh go away" for example, was a common spell), but set up for solo gameplay without a DM by use of modules sold by the designers.

i love tunnels & trolls stuff. i think its real nice to collect. it has that almost "small community" feel to it as it was never as big as most other systems and i think the material was fab - as stephen says, some of the spells are quite funny, but its a nice easy fun system.

Quite unusual to see 2 of these come up at the same time. This has been mentioned before on the forums, and I still think it is one of the great scenarios.

I was intrigued as to whether this might be something incredibly rare. While I didn't find any direct information on it, I *did* find an item being sold on the Flying Buffalo website -- "25 computer-generated character sheets in an envelope". The price: $2.

It occurred to me that the auction is stating that the artwork on the front is by Danforth, 1977. It doesn't actually claim that the item is from 1977. ;) I surmise that some bidder is going to get burned pretty bad here.

Wow, great spot Foul.  I"m going to order some of the sheets since they are so cheap, and compare the covers...and maybe a couple of the solo adventures..they range from $5-$7 on the website, and they are selling for $20 or so on Ebay, it pays to look around a little before dropping big bucks on the auction sites!!!

Liz Danforth certainly was illustrating in 1977 for Chaosium, FB, and others.  That art looks early/basic enough compared to her later works that I'm willing to believe that it's that old ;)

Oh, I have no doubt that the art was originally produced in 1977.  And the character sheets probably originally came out in 1977.  But it may not be such a stretch to think they're still printing them today.

"25 computer generated character sheets" definitely sounds like something from the 1970's; no self-respecting company would describe such sheets today like that.  But they there they are, on the FBI web site, being sold for $2.  I dunno.  Something like the Judges' Guild stock-clearing firesale, perhaps?

Thanks, Scott.

I wonder if this is actually the same set you can get off the FB website.  I'm gonna order one and see.  That envelope certainly doesn't look old.

I'm a huge T&T fan, but the character sheets never interested me much. $100+ is ridiculous.

I'm surprised at the price on this one so far, since the earlier tape-bound/non-color cover edition is definitely rarer: yog-sothoth.com/cocdbdetail.php?IS=L&am ... &ID=40 vs.
