I've got the 3 Varanae books; I highly recommend them. I remember liking them very much when I read thru them.

They're two Varanae books, and we think they might be interesting.

Yes, but possibly not with those shipping charges outwith the U.S.

U.S.
"Boxed and Padded $5.95 Non-Priority in Lower 48 States"
Worldwide
"Boxed and Padded (Shipping Cost plus $7.95 US)".
And with only a $3 discount ("usually") per extra item, but you have to email them to see if they're feeling that generous.

(Plus the seller's gouging further still by claiming a USPS Global Priority box is "usually" about $20-25...).

Oh, and "Feedback will only be left once I receive feedback"...

heh, heh... and you are located in the U.S.

Oh well, at least it's kinda in black and white (not that I've read every line on every auction every time...).

Certainly got a big "huh!" from me, though.
A USPS Global Priority box should usually go for $15 for 4 pounds (although some post offices appear to have different applications of the rules).
They want $27.95-$32.95 for the first item... and $24.95-$29.95 for each one thereafter. Surely not???
Six booklets in a $15 box = up to $182.70 in postage & packing charges, if so... 8O

Yeah, I really am not keen on paying sellers who are trying to supplement their income solely through their s&h. I would much rather bid $20.00 and pay $4.00/$4.50 s&h than bid $15.00 and pay $10.00 s&h even if the final total is the same, because I view the outrageous s&h as dishonesty by the seller. To be honset my bid will actually be lower due to the dishonesty factor, if I even bid at all.

A Variable weight Global priority Box weighing 4 lbs (the max weight) costs $26.00 to ship to the UK. Over 4 lbs cannot be mailed Global priority.
Same box to UK weighing 1lb costs $10, 2 lbs cost $15 & 3lbs costs $21.

I bought both books and another item from the seller. They charged me $24.95 total for shipping USPS Global Priority to the UK. I'll keep you posted buy their feedback indicates that I'll probably get my books.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Everything arrived just fine this morning. The other item was a combat slide rule. A poor man's fighting wheel.

Hi DL36. I posted mine on eBay at that price 'cos I e-mailed the loser in the $200 Tight Ass Games auction and told him I'g give him one complete with maps for $100 (no coffee stains).

*g*. This one sounds/looks interesting/"different"... 8)

"AD&D Dungeon Module G2(squared), "Habitition of the Stone Giant Lord," by G. J. Caesar, copyright 1981, GJC Modules. This is a very cool (almost unique) item hand colored by the guy who wrote and designed it. GJC Modules was run out of Bethesda, MD in the 1980s by obsessive gamers who designed and sold their own unique modules and other items!"; in this lot
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 6954833030
$10 with 6 days to go
*
(Auction lot also has "Dungeons and Dragons FAST-PLAY GAME (by Jeff Grubb; originally released as a free handout), 18pp"... is that this one, or another? Fast Play D&D ).
