:)

Thanks for thinking of me, but I've already lightened my wallet a great deal in the past year by scooping up a ton of CE stuff.

For anyone who might be curious, CE has been running hot and cold all summer — it's possible to score some good deals with just a little bit of luck and patience. And FM has mentioned that classic-era CE has made some past appearances at the GenCon auctions, too ...

Never see one of this board game before:

Vintage 1979 Ralph Bakshi Lord of the Rings Board Game | eBay

I don't know how rare it is but for a LotR collector it could be an interesting game...

I'll bet the gameplay is like Candyland or Life.  But instead of a mansion at the end of the game, its a volcano.

Interestingly, the black/red dice in the set are very similar to the ones used in Milton Bradley's American Heritage Skirmish game from 1976.  I wonder if they're original to the set or not?

As I recall yes.  I owned this game back in '79.  Gameplay is very simplistic.  As I recall, each player starts the game with three rings and must try and get to Mt. Doom with at least one ring left.  At various chokepoints in the game there are monster hexes (which you need a ring or approriate card to escape from).  Mechanic is roll-move-deal with monster hex (if necessary) as escaping wasn't a big deal whoever rolled the most generally won.  Again, as I recall, the only major decision in the game was whether to go through Moria (can move only 1 hex at a time but shorter path) or go around the mountains (roll dice as normal, but much longer path).

Nice original Traveller collection.  Includes Merchant Prince, Robots, and Secrets of the Ancients.  Seller states that there is some highlighting in some of the books though.

Still a nice pickup if someone gets it cheap.

Nice copy of Horror on the Orient Express.  Hadn't seen it posted here yet -- apologies if this is a repeat.

This should go for much more than $51.  All the books look like they're in good condition and he has all the extras (also in nice condition).

Hum seriously thinking about selling mine... I don't think it could go for so much in US (since as I said, I got it for only 10€, as new...).

yes that is the latter Gamescience release of Tegel Manor. its ok, but not really collectable. its a good read, but not a draw like most of the older prints. CrazyEgor has a batch of them and has been slowly selling them for quite some time.

A question was raised about the Corsair Publishing Pulp Dungeons lot that I have been pointing people to.

Specifically, does the seller have that much stock so that he can deliver that many huge lots for that price.

I contacted the seller.  Here's what he says:

<<we own all the old inventory. I can and will deliver whatever you can use.

thanks

Chad at C&C>>

There ya go.

Even at $25 instead of $20....totally worth your time.
