frank, well he has a reserve on that lot, which will be £50 AT LEAST.

the only sensible way to ship them to the US is surface. they will prb weigh quite a log i imagine.

but if anyone wants em and wants em sent on or something, just gimme a shout.

*g*. I'd hope they'd get at least £50, otherwise they're in for a big-time loss on their outlay.

Firen has four high bids on the Creatures of Chaos 1, currently languishing in Greg Stafford's latest batch

** expired/removed eBay auction **

$4 with 20 hours to go
- also an unwanted copy of perChance at the same price: printing error doesn't help, phps?

No such languishing on the Nomad Gods, I see... (What d'ya say, Mike (mdr003) :)).

Yeah, the NG is going well - as it should, for a copy in mint condition from a reputable seller. Firen is a huge Runequest fan, and Uzuztroll is making him earn it.

I'm thinking about upgrading my VGC punched copy, but at $227 I think I'll pass and save the cash for a copy of something I don't have. Like those O&W issues, for example.

Regards

Mike

No joke! :)

Just don't expect any huge D&D content - those are newsletters, not fanzines. (Mind you, some people think the likes of WF was a fanzine, too...).

Y'might get a page an issue, on average, and possibly zero in one of the copies.

Yeah, I kind of know what to expect from O&W. I like the Games Workshop stuff, and am interested to see where White Dwarf originated from.

I don't remember the last D&D item I bought... it's been a while. I've been distracted by more games orientated stuff recently.

Regards

Mike

3rd highest. ;)

No idea how many the seller has of those, but there will probably be another up within a month or so. Minty condition, as usual. :)
Better luck next time.

(I was mostly looking for something to combine with
** expired/removed eBay auction **
).

Neither would have gone for that cheap if my internet connection wasn't extremely slow tonight.   :x

Fast reply! I had just edited my post and was looking for this link to add to my post:
-> the one that got away....
(grodog mentioning usual price is now $50-$60)
Perhaps hamilcar obtained a huge lot of original unsold stock?

I saw that TSR worlds a few hours ago when it was at 0.99, almost posted it here but was lazy.

I sold my TSR worlds too early...I had two (picked up at Waldenbooks, I think), and in 2002 I put them in a lot with a 1988, 1989 and 1990 TSR catalog, and a hobby shop update. Sold for about $10 to Sotterano/Dungeonmaster1968. (These were my nicest, unmarked copies of the 1988/89 catalogs...)

Do my trick and bid early... then watch the snipes pile in! (Nice wins at barely $3/each, Mark ;)).

Sorry, Brian (again): and you had me within 30 cents of being maxxed out, too.

Hmm... 59 (or was that 57?)...

Prices (on Seren) can go down, as well as up.
I paid more than that current copy, a few years back. (Wouldn't have complained to pick up another with free postage for swaps, though...).

Erm, oops... :?
The trouble with selling, unfortunately...

Thanks for the pic, zhowar: yeah, is strange on perspective with those: I'd've considered the Hobby Shop catalogs to be throw aways (remembering those stacked high over here). Yet, a copy of TSR Worlds, plus the listing here = different ballgame, altogether.

It's rather hard to find TSR Worlds in the listings. (Try searching for that phrase... it's a mess.)

Tom Moldvay has mentioned to me (as recently as a month ago) that Seren Ironhand is really extremely rare, compared to his other works. Wish I'd seen that one... I'll keep a lookout (when I'm not at GenCon that is). And there was supposed to be a sequel, but everything fell apart...
