Those books are seriously heavy.  Only option is UPS Ground.  $33 for my zip code.

Yeah, and $56 to my zip! The auction has a reserve on it too. *shrug*

Baldemar for just over $10 including shipping.

Amazing that this deal is just sitting around on EBay.  If you are an actual gamer, this is a good price for one of the better fantasy town settings around.  Baldemar is detailed and interesting, with details like who is the landlord of each of the buildings in the slums, etc.

I already have a copy or I'd snag this one.

I'll second that.  I think all of the Gygax Fantasy Master modules are undervalued.  They seem to sell for usually less than $10.

I agree that Baldemar (by the late Bob Blake, author of lots of Judges Guild items and coordinator of the AD&D Open at GenCon for many years) is nicely written and nicely presented.

Problem is that lots were printed and few were sold, due to a sorely limited ad budget (Don Turnbull's fault if you really get down to it)... so lots of 'em are still out there waiting to be discovered, and usually really cheap.

Yes. It is almost as good as Carse and less expensive. I have a couple copies and as tempting as that is Frank is right. They come up way to often. That being said if someone does not have one I would say buy it. It might be possible to get one cheaper but being in the shrink you know this one should be in pretty good shape.

I have the Greek-African module on order from Titan.  I'm looking forward to seeing it.  I am creeping up on buying a copy of The Convert.

LOL.  I'm not a RM expert by any means, but I thought I'd read that the Channeling (Essences?) book was rare.  Perhaps I'm better off in my known territory :D

I don't think the Channeling book is an RPG book.  I think it's a photocopied occult religious item.

About a year ago, there was a guy selling this one as a part of a larger set of similar items.  I asked him if it was really a gaming item, or if it was an occult item.  He responded that it was an occult item and had been wrongly listed.
