I have a few issues of this fanzine and was thinking "Gee it would be nice to get this set". So I started a bit of an internet search and learned that it did not become a gaming fanzine until issue#16, before that it was a scandal sheet in the Tolkien Society!!! Early issues may no longer exist and those that do are in rare book collections!!! Perhaps this has been discussed before. Fat chance of ever completing that set!!! Just to glimpse them, one must get access to the Marquette Hunnewell collection.

A "scandal sheet"? What sort of scandals would a Tolkien society have? Maybe-

Funny, I only ever knew it as a news rag for the Tolkien Society. What kind of gaming material did it eventually cover? MERP?

It seems to cover all manner of games. The issues I have, among other things, have articles on: Traveller, Bunnies and Burrows, Elric and D&D. There are plenty of reviews and a number of fantasy-themed general articles  (eg medieval economics). There seem to be a few articles reprinted from Alarums and Excursions as well. I have just three issues and none of them address MERP.
