Put me down as confirmed. PM on the way.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

That looks like something I'd bid on if it were on eBay.

Well, I'm auctioning it, but here among the members.

So far, Ak'Ptui has made a generous offer to buy it outright, but stated he would be just as willing to bid on it in open auction.

Those wanting this original should make yourselves known.

gotcha down, david.

Also, folks, a matter has come up that concerns me. I will put it to all of you to bash about and give me your opinions.

My conundrum is, the "list" vs. the actual copies #1-15. Should those that wanted on the list receive the # on which they were placed, or get the copy# according to the time they pay?

4-5 members have already paid, and were not, necessarily, low on the number list.

How do you all feel the situation should be?

1. Recieve copy # same as "the list"?.....or
2. Receive copy # same as the order of payment received at my account?

Obtain 15 grasshoppers.
Either paint the number 1-15 or tie a small piece of paper to them, number 1-5.
Place them on in a cleared dirt circle, with a 12" diameter glass bowl over the top of them.

As they hop off out of the circle area, match the number with the individuals going down the original list.

That way you resolve it using natural randomness.
And you have plenty of components for the jump spell, afterwards.

Looks great, confirmed & paid.
As far as the order, I lean toward the order on the list. I guess because the first few folks that requested a copy wanted one regardless of the details, and if it weren't for them confirming interest the rest of us may not have had a chance. The numbers serve to recognize their early support. Just my 2c.

Sounds reasonable to me.

I think that sounds good. Remember as well that some of the buyers are overseas. Brett for instance is in Australia, so he's working on a major delay in reading/responding.

True, there are several international members we should be mindful of.

Announcement
Having researched the shipping rates in the U.S. (including Alaska) I have figured the total cost for U.S. members at $12.50(including shipping!) This is for Priority, flat rate envelope, so it will not get there overnight!

All U.S. members still wishing a copy can now simply send the payment to my paypal account [rc pinnell(at)verizon(dot)net] and I will get underway.
International members, I'll need addresses.

And...photos up ahead!

I am in....where do I send the money?  (Obviously, I missed it in the above posts...?)

All copies will be unbound (loose leaf) with a cover sheet numbered and signed by me.

The price remains as stated, though individual shipping will vary, so I will need your address & payment if you haven't already sent it (PM me).

I have already printed up 3 copies. Tomorrow is another day.  :D
Edited for update.

I'd prefer the #2 slot as it was alocated when we declared interest. I've already paid, but the payment system is blind, so people don't know where they are placed, and it the undetermined shipping places the international bidders later in the list than those who can play the $12 stated in the thread.

PM on the way :)

I think that as for other limited items, the first interested guys have to be the first numbered (not just because for once, I am in the top five :D )

And like a lot of us, I would be interested to bid on the original.

I agree with the sentiment so far...the list # will be your copy #.

As to the auction, I believe I have an opening bid from Ak'Ptui already--if his offer still stands.  The question is, do you want an Open bidding, or in PMs?
