I would be quite happy with loose leaf if that is what you are going to produce for the majority of folks.

Just thought 2-3 holes on the side with the brass pins to hold the pages together would be an easy and very inexpensive method of keeping the pages together.

Heck, I have a bunch of brass pins that I would happy to mail to you for free.
I got them for like $2-3 at Office Depot here in town and only used a couple of them and it had something like 50…
The packages at Home Depot come in different lengths too.
1/2" up to 2-1/2", and the ones I have are 1" (I think) should be plenty long enough for 60 sheets.

If you decide to use the Spiral Binding method:
I have a spiral binding machine and have bound hundreds of books together using the machine.
All kinds of thickness too, from a few sheets to hundreds of pages.
From my own experiences with them; unless thicker stock paper is used for outside covers (best is Card Stock), then the outside pages are almost guaranteed to tear and rip at some point.
Second thought: it is FAR better to use a binder that is a little too large than one that is a little too small.

Bottom line, I am just happy to be on the list.
Once I know the price, I will send payment, then please sign and send that critter bound or unbound.
That is your choice sir!
I am eager to see the content, not the packaging…

PM coming at ya.

As am I :)
Any binding will be good. But please, do not go through lulu process... I just really dislike the POD quality, especially for a limited run

Okay, update needed by y'all.
Those that want spiral bound need to confirm, as I am working with a fellow member to put this together.

Those that simply wish loose-leaf(unbound) copies (so you can bind it yourself as you desire)need to firm up as well.

To simplify/expediate things, these will be the only 2 options.

Pretty firm, but did I miss pricing somewhere in this thread?

Pricing is going to be kept down to make it all worth it to you guys. But shipping is always a big bummer.

Does $7.50 + shipping sound reasonable (for loose leaf)?

I can't give you the spiral yet, all the details for materials haven't been worked out.

Absolutely, but don't price yourself short. I think most folks on here are painfully aware of the rising costs of shipping.

Yes, I will sign and # the cover sheets. That is paramount.

Several members have voiced opinions that this cost should be higher.
It is not my intention of making a haul from this project. But, to provide the members with a little bit of Thorky history. When one considers it may well take as much as $4-5 dollars to ship to some locations--on top of that--(even more, internationally!)--then the price is moving up towards the maximum that most will tolerate.

Spiral bound is another issue altogether, and Gnat and I are working on the details of that. When we have it all figured out, then things will be a bit more clearer.

As per Mbassco's request--I would also like to post some pictures if possible, to let you all see a little something.

Finally, I opt for an "unbound loose-leaf binding" please :)

I am in, i'd prefer the unbound version... the plastic spiral bound is really awful (i removed it from all my massconfusion modules for instance!)...

In any case PM sent to cofirm my order!

I'm still in on the #2 slot - Unbound.
I'm happy up to $20 or so, at a 25-50 copy print run.
Any chance of some pictures of the original MS?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Also, to make things simpler all around, I am not going to be doing the spiral bound.

All copies will be unbound (loose leaf) with a cover sheet numbered and signed by me. I am going to the office supply store to check out card stock outer protection and if I get a good deal, I will add this to the item.

The price remains as stated, though individual shipping will vary, so I will need everyone's address (PM me) in order to calculate this figure before informing each of you your individual total.

How does that sound?
