In general, I was thinking the costs you have run into.
Not specific to my location...

I figure I shipped the wrong method the on time I shipped to Canada.
It costs me $23 or so.  And I just shipped a Module in a padded envelope.

At $23? Must have been over night or Express mail. That figure rings about right for quick service.

Probably was.
Some of the postal folks are really kewl.
They will take the time and explain your options, what you can do.
What would be cost affective for your shipment.
Then, you run into the ones who don't give a crap.
They want you to go, so they can get to the next person.
Don't explain anything, don't provide better options, don't really want to help you.
And probably smirk at you under their crystalized face mask cause they know you just got screwed.

Your price, including shipping, was more than fair.

Thank you, F-C. I was hoping it is/was. But I just want to make sure everyone is on the "same page"

I do not want anyone feeling slighted, one bit.

Thanks for the list, JG.
I did an online USPS search and the rates for PGP (FR) international were like $29. So I used the 1st class since it (the copy) weighs in at less than a lb; If I have overcharged on shipping, I will refund the difference back to each member's account.

First Class International can be up to 4 lbs., though the new USPS web layout only shows up to 1 lb. rates.

The new site layout sucks.

Well the first batch of copies will be reaching their owners this coming week for sure ( I will begin mailing phase 2 beginning Monday/Tuesday).

As these arrive, please go over them and make sure you got the proper # on the list, and that it is signed. I double check everything, but my brain is sometimes in a fog.

How this will appear. Each is in a vanilla colored folder, with the cover sheet first, then the copy. Nothing is stapled, pinned, or held; it is as loose-leaf as it can be.

To those getting theirs first, if you would post your response (positive or negative), it would be appreciated.

Will do.
A page count would be useful so we can check we have all the relevant pages.

There should be 58 including the cover sheet. I had mistakenly mentioned 60 at the outset, for I had counted a couple blank back pages for some reason.

Just back from the doctor. Developed an inner ear infection over the past few days....leaking fluid like crazy; my wife says I need a new oil change--overdue once I passed 55!

So, I'm on horse pills. But not to worry, can carry on as usual. But spent most of the day doing doctor medicine things. Which means tomorrow (Tuesday) next batch will go out.

Just got my copy this afternoon.
Large unpadded mailing envelope.
No padding was added inside; there was a folding manila folder that the loose papers were placed inside of.
Unfortunately; the package was bent in half to fit into the mailbox.
I blame myself for that last bit.
I should have asked you to write on the envelope: "DO NOT BEND"

My mail person has done this to small packages like this one on several occasions.
USPS Domestic shipping Motto: "If it wont fit, fold it or bend it, just MAKE it fit."

Entire set of papers have a fold along the center, which will eventually be removed by placing heavy books on top to weight the pages down.
Corners are bent at bottom and top as well, affecting the front half dozen pages or so and the back half dozen pages or so.

I counted 58 single sided sheets.
Pages are not numbered.
Some pages have very light writing (notes) and most of them are obviously corrections/revisions that were made to the original manuscript while some were additions made for other reasons.

I plan to place the module into book form by using my plastic spiral book machine.
Does that destroy the collectable value?
Perhaps for some folks it will… to some extent.

But I know this will help to protect the pages from further damage.
And the book format will make it easier to read and use without trying to mess with and keep track of loose pages.
I will add a heavy (110 pound) card stock cover on the back and a clear plastic cover on the front with the signed cover page showing under the clear plastic cover.

My apologies your copy was postally abused. I actually told the post clerk to stamp "DNB" on the front/s and I thought that she did, but I didn't check to verify; probably just stamping the postmark.

I counted 58 single sided sheets.
Pages are not numbered.
Some pages have very light writing (notes) and most of them are obviously corrections/revisions that were made to the original manuscript while some were additions made for other reasons.

The first 13-14 were not numbered. Nor the end 9-10. These being introductions, backgrounds, WM tables, NPC charts & tables, Players' copy of partial map, and proper maps. The actual text sections have #s up at the top UL(Upper level 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, etc); level 2 having designations 2/1, 2/2, 2/3, etc.
I hope this has not made it too difficult for anyone to keep in order. For the non-text pages, actual order is not all that important; just keep the "Intro, BG and monster info in the beginning, and maps and party tables in the back.

Yes, I had made some hand written notes to the original long ago. So those will show up in the copy/ies.

again, I am sorry.

I would assume from the information provided from the very start that this module was never in published form.
IIRC: You created it, used it, tweaked it and it was always a project/work in progress to the very end.

I like what I got. 8)

Postal care/abuse is not under your control.

The only thing that would have made me happier would be if my meager bid had won your original...

Or, if you decided at some point in the future to actually publish this I would like an opportunity to buy a copy of that as well.
