It's funny, I've been hemming and hawing on the sweet hardbound Masks of Nyartholhotep* for a dog's age, and the 30% cinched the deal.

Sunrunner44 - sucker for a sweet deal.

* whatever, that's certainly close enough for government work

PS - unless the government is in on it**!

** that's not a bad Cthulhu joke, all things considered.

PPS - I have a half-assesed collection of Cthulhu that every year I so go through some mental agony of not buying more.  It's just...cool.

Dug in to this sale as well.

Good deal offsets the priority shipping.

Hey everyone,

Received my book today! :)

Those guys at Chaosium really know how to pack well.

The book is in amazing shape, and Hong Kong customs didn't even open the package. :)

Worth every cent I paid!

Thank you again for pointing out the sale.

Best regards,
Ronald

half of your cthulhu collection assessed,

That should have been 'half-assed'.  The really sad part is, 'half-assessed' is both funnier and more accurate.

Sunrunner4 - *shakes fist at cruel gawds of irony*

PS - I've been wanting to get a few monographs for awhile just to check the product.  My local game store guy gets all narrow-eyed and shifty when I try and ask why he doesn't carry Cthulhu, and mumbles incomprehensibly and I get bored.

PPS - actually, that may be his normal demeanor, as I think that over.

PPPS - when you open a game store, do you get a grease-stained shirt with holes in the Game Store Kit, or something?

PPPPS - And yes, the 'gawds' reference does mean I've started to dabble in Hackmaster.

PPPPPS - and by dabble, I mean: "dance narrowly close to obsession", like normal.
