Considering you can usually get most of those Role Aids supplements and adventures for five bucks or less on Ebay, I dont see this as all that great a deal.

I'm assuming that there's a reason that the gaming store both went out of business and had this bunch of stuff left.

Paizo has enough of a customer base to sell these.  I betcha they are sold out of most of it ion a few months

The MSRP prices are supposed to be really good.  They aren't.

Paizo has made hunting for these OOP items simpler by putting them all in one well-known online store.  The prices of the common items are not bargains or even current market value (whatever that is).  But these OOP games are now available from a major RPG publisher.

This is also a good PR move for Paizo.  Paizo shows its fondness for the old gaming community and notices when a local game store closes.

FormCritic knows that most of these items can be had for much less.  He also knows that any really rare or valuable item that appears will be gone from the Paizo store before he can get to it.

JohnGaunt sees that some of the uncommon items are already gone.

JohnGaunt has not finished his first cup of coffee, and his mind is being warped by these third-person posts.  He remembers his RPG characters.  His characters refer to themselves in both first- and third-person; his characters are actually pretending that they are being played by an unseen party who refers to that character in first- or third-person.

Am I the only one that sees bolded names and immediately thinks magic items?

Oh, yes.  Paizo will definitely sell these items almost entirely out...and at a hefty profit.

FormCritic is sure they'll make roughly 500-1000% profit on each item.

Most likely, the American Eagles guys were happy to get at least something back on these items.  It would be cool if they had a stake in the online sales.

American Eagles also sold online.  They were on Ebay.  If they had added a strong internet sales effort, they probably could have stayed in business for a while longer.
