Below are pictures and Copyright Information of the copies of All the Worlds Monsters (ATWM) that I have.
ALL of my copies of this Monster Book series were published by The Chaosium.

The pictures below show the cover on the left and copyright page on the right (same book).

Loose Leaf Format: Vol I and Vol II, both are 1st Prints (I have never seen Vol III in this format)

Stapled Format: Vol II, 2nd Print (I have never seen, but assume Vol I also came in this format, I have never seen Vol III in this format)

(Perfect Bound) Glued Format: Vol I, Vol II, Vol III: Vol I and Vol II are 3rd prints, Vol III is labeled 1st Edition on the copyright page.
I have never seen Vol III in any other format except in the Glued format.

Loose Leaf Format: Vol I
The 2nd print is loose leaf, copyright April 1978

Vol II: my print fits your 1st print.

Vol III: 1st edition, same as yours. Chaosium is written on the spine.
Since your picture does not show all the spine, I am not sure that you have Chaosium stated.

Thanks Loki.
Was not aware that Vol 1 had a 2nd printing in Loose Leaf Format.

Hoping someone can confirm whether Volume I came in Stapled format as well.
Since the Perfect Bound (glued) printing is labeled 3rd Print, it seems that is unlikely.
If so, then (probably) only the 2nd Print of Volume II was a stapled book.

Some threads take me a long time to notice...

SKU                   Year
CHA2001p1       1977          All the World's Monsters Volume I (3-hole)
CHA2001p2       1978          All the World's Monsters Volume I (3-hole)
CHA2001p3       1979          All the World's Monsters Volume I (perfect bound)
CHA2001e2       1981          All the World's Monsters Volume I (perfect bound)
CHA2002p1       1977          All the World's Monsters Volume II (3-hole)
CHA2002p2       1979          All the World's Monsters Volume II (stapled)
CHA2002p3       1980          All the World's Monsters Volume II (perfect bound)
CHA2004          1980          All the World's Monsters Volume III (perfect bound)

Thus, there are 4 versions of V1, 3 versions of V2, and just one version of V3.
