Two tickets to the charity game Thursday night are up for bid at the site!  This game, DM'd by the esteemed Taco Jon Hershberger, will contain a who's who of gaming legends...we hope 8 of them, taken from the mixed bag of nuts that are Frank Mentzer, Tim Kask, Rob Kuntz, Paul Jaquays, Dennis Sustare, Jim Ward, Jeff Dee, Erol Otus, and Steve Winter.  Two lucky high bidders will be able to sit at the table and adventure with these guys through an original dungeon, and the money will all to to Charity! (cough write-off cough).  Doug has picked a children's charity (not sure of the name yet) so bid often and bid to win!!!  There will be some MAJOR props associated with this, including the opportunity to get all the special guests and Jon to sign your character sheet (how often is this opportunity going to happen???)

Edit:  This appears to be the charity Doug has chosen....looks like a really good one!

*sighs with great sadness*

Doug can you videotape this game session?

I don't think I'll be able to make it until Friday night. Someone from work is already on vacation (... don't ask...)...

Mike that's probably an associate charity...

I picked this one:

http://varietytexas.org

it's specific to Texas

We will have 2 video camera at the Con again, recording complete Panel Sessions, parts of some games and all of others.

As I did with last year's video, short pieces are online on the website to view, even the complete Panel Sessions are online for watching.

We will also have 4 other live streaming cameras that can be viewed as well.

More on that later.

Oh, and there might be a "camera crew" onsite primarily filming one of the special guests... someone is doing a "biography" on one of the special guests and asked if they could bring a crew in (2 people and a camera) ... so if they decide to come, we might get some better video/pics as well.

I just checked, my link is the "main" charity page, the one we are donating to is the Texas branch of that charity.

Although people don't use RPG Marketplace as much as Ebay, would it not be prudent to sticky this as well?

The flip side of course, is that it's a site for known collectors, so no great finds are easily discovered, per se...
