Thanks for the votes of confidence, guys :D

Rob cancelled his events at GaryCon 3, so I've been trying to catch up with him to get a status on things.  I'll let you know anything substantive as soon as I'm able.

Jon renegotiated our licensing with Joe Goodman on the DCC conversions, and we have 2 in process that we're hoping to have ready for NTX; we'll see if they end up done in time or not.  Time will tell!

Noticed this recently:

http://greyhawkgrognard.blogspot.com/20 ... r-two.html

Since Joe Bloch seems to be starting his own little game design company, I am curious how his announcement will affect Black Blade's "Castle of the Mad Archmage" project?

I've pretty much given up on seeing anything new from Rob Kuntz any time soon, but I still have high hopes for a refined version of Castle of the Mad Archmage.

I was wondering if there might be an update on Castle and the Kuntz items?  I'm still interested :)

The original manuscript and maps are available from the author's website in PDF, but can't wait to see a polished product with artwork etc.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

That's Castle of the Mad Archmage....
Author's Site - http://greyhawkgrognard.blogspot.com/20 ... lease.html
Manuscript - http://www.mediafire.com/?ff0dj5u272f2bvn
That seems to be the final version of the manuscript I think (all 184 pages of it), and if it's not I'm sure someone here'll correct me. And if you dig around on the author's website you'll find no end of other goodies. The coloured maps are awesome, but I think they only produced coloured versions of the first few. All the rest are in blue and white.

Thanks for the links.

Technology and gadgets are awesome (I'm using an iPad right now, in fact) but nothing beats a real book with real artwork and real pizza stains.

That was the final version.  We gave up on the Undermountain style color maps around level 6 or so.  From what I recall, it was extra work for the mapper, and not enough people were asking for them.

This looks to be awesome. It would be great if they kept the 1E look, without the "fan made module" of course : )

Is there a suggested PC level for this adventure?

CZ:UW is for pretty much new characters, and CotMA extends from there, so just keep going until everyone is slaughtered.

I don't have further information on that one way or the other.
