http://www.yog-sothoth.com/threads/1975 ... l-offer%29

I had skipped over this thread at y-s for a long time, but then eventually the special offer part caught my eye.  Basically, pre-orders get a bonus scenario and a bonus pdf, and if enough (50) people preorder then they'll make the pdf a print version as well.

Damn! If I hadn't had that bad experience on Chaosium's website, I'd sign...

The pre-order doesn't run through chaosium's site. This is a book by Miskatonic River Press.

And you can pay through Paypal so that should be safer.

Yeah, this one has nothing to do with Chaosium.  I believe it should be as safe as any other secure online transaction.

Yes.
Miskatonic River Press has been very good at delivering product.
They have a nice mixture of CoC material and fiction.
Some of the "big names" in the CoC and Lovecraft circles are now associated with the company.
There is forthcoming products from S.T. Joshi and Wilum "Hopfrog" Pugmire in their fiction line.
Oscar Rios, Kevin Ross, Scott David Aniolowski, Fred Behrendt and several other well known game developers are now associated with Miskatonic River Press.
Tom Lynch, who is now the President and Managing Editor, is a stand-up guy who took the reins of the company when Keith Herber passed away.

I pre-ordered as well.

I'm also looking at the already released products. Need to get my hands on those as well.

Be advised that there are two printings of "More Adventures in Arkham Country".
The second printing corrects a few minor problems with the first printing.
You can tell the second by additions on the credits page.
Three persons are credited for additional copy editing. (I am one of them). ` 8)
