Hey everyone,

I have a question with regards to the Arduin Grimoires put out by David Hargrave.

I recently won on Ebay Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of the Grimoires, and they are in really great shape.

What I can't figure out is what printing they might be.
As I have been told that there were multiple printings of his books.

As an example I have two copies of Volume 2: Welcome To Skull Tower
For one copy, the title on the cover page is solid black lettering. For the other copy the lettering is not a solid black color, instead it is just the edges of the letters in black.

Is there a reference that anyone can recommend that I could go take a look at?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Ronald

I can vaguely remember some posts about the Arduin books on DF but I don't think I have ever found a good source for determining the print.

We have worked on this a bit over on the Tome of Treasures and I think at last count there were something like 11 prints of Volume 1, etc.  It seems like every copy that we end up getting is a new print.  For the original cover of Arduin Grimoire it looks like there are at least 5 prints and then with the newer cover art another 6 - with probably a few more unidentified prints out there.  Volumes 2 and 3 also have several different prints.

Here's a place to start:

Early copies were copyright Dave Hargrave so are placed here:

And later prints are copyright Grimoire Games and placed here:
