I thought about buying this, but I can't convince myself that I need yet another edition of this adventure:  boxed set, pb, pb of Terror Australis for the missing chapter, the Complete pb, and probably a reprint pb.

From the catalog listing, it doesn't look like there's any new info/etc. in it, or have I missed something there??

Allan, I am not 100% sure but there had been some talk about some editing and layout changes.

There is going to be a Masks Companion monograph released soon that is a collaborative effort of many people on the Yog-Sothoth forum. The last I heard it was in final editing and layout.

I've heard it mentioned from time to time but haven't followed the details.  Do you know what'll be in it, Jason?

Here is a link to the 18 page thread on the Yog-Sothoth forum.
The project started in 2007.

It is supposed to include detailed information for keepers about each of the campaign locations, plus more maps, etc.

And it is projected to be the largest and most expensive monograph Chaosium has done. It will likely cost more than MoN itself!

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, Pendragon, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based, CoC, Runequest

Planning: BRP/Harn

Same here.  And no dust jacket?  The fact that it is cloth covered and embossed should warrant some bit of protection in my opinion.  Not that it will matter all that much anyway, this is a collectible first and foremost...99% of the people that buy this will probably stick it in a mylar bag, which will go in a box, and then in a drawer or closet somewhere and not in a bookcase.

Thanks for the pointers and info, guys.

@ Jason:  that summary/review was particularly helpful.  I'm passing on this one.

That seems such a shame that it'll not get used though, although I understand the collector.
